Going to Barden University for college is just where Y/N L/N had planned ever since she started high school. Not just because it was close by, but because of her mom's best friend's son, BUMPER ALLEN, who was almost like a celebrity in the school for his role in the collegiate a cappella group THE TREBLEMAKERS.
After starting out and meeting her roommate, STACIE CONRAD, Y/N L/N is convinced to join the only all female a cappella group on campus, THE BARDEN BELLAS.
She makes friends in the group, one being BECA MITCHELL, who she really met through working as an intern stacking CDs for the campus' radio station.
But BECA MITCHELL wasn't the only person she met through the radio station. There, she also meets JESSE SWANSON, the dorky guy who sang to her from his car on the first day.
Y/N L/N and JESSE SWANSON both like each other. A lot. They really like each other. But in order to join THE BARDEN BELLAS, Y/N L/N had to take an oath. She's not allowed to have sexual relations with a TREBLEMAKER. And JESSE SWANSON is just that.
