Reckless Driver

Years have passed since Chrys came to Radiator Springs. She's grown so much and has become a beautiful and kind young lady, she's currently seventeen. The creature has found out how to change her form, so she'd appear less terrifying.

Right now, she was with Sheriff at the speed trap. Chrys was awake while the policeman was snoring away, the dark-haired creature yawned in both exhaustion and boredom.

"Why'd I volunteer to help tonight?" She was about to get up and walk back to town, but something zoomed passed the two, waking the sheriff.

"Not in my town you don't." Sheriff turned on his siren and Chrys shifted to her true form, the car and the creature rushing after the speeder.

Chrys was startled when Sheriff's engine backfired, but she kept running anyway soon jumping onto the rooftops of the town to keep up with the speeder and Sheriff.

She watched as the speeder nearly crashed into the Cozy Cones; she jumped down in front of the speeder making the cores on her face, throat, claws, and stinger glow. He swerved away and headed towards a barbed wire fence, crashing into it.

Chrys sighed and shook her head as she continued to run after the speeder, keeping her smaller limbs close to her body.

Soon enough the speeder was stopped, but he was hanging from some wires. The road was torn up and Chrys stood with Sheriff as she glared with distain and anger at the red colored car.

"Boy, you're in a heap of trouble." With that the speeder fell unconscious. Chrys got him down and let Sheriff and Mater take him to the impound as she walked to the Cozy Cone motel.

The motel was run by Sally, the town's attorney and her now adoptive mother.

Chrys' mother never came back, so the teenager thought she might be dead now.

"Chrys, you alright?" Sally was concerned when her daughter walked in with tired eyes and made sure to get the creature some water.

"I'm fine, Mom. Speeder gave me and Sheriff a run for our money." Chrys drank some of the water after turning to her smaller form. Her human form.

Humans were only considered legends and extinct if they ever existed.

"I'm sure you got plenty of excitement for one night." Sally smiled as her daughter settled in her nest of blankets.

"Yeah, well, there's gonna be a trial tomorrow no doubt." Chrys yawned before falling asleep.

The next day, Sally woke Chrys up and the two made their way to the traffic court. They were a little late as the 'human' girl opened the doors.

"Sorry we're late, Your Honor!"

Everyone made room as Sally drove in with Chrys at her side. The speeder, who happened to be a race car, thought Sally was here for him. "Hey, thanks for coming, but we're all set. He's letting me go."

"He's letting you go?" Sally was shocked at this, and Chrys was angry as she glared at the red car, hissing as she did.

"Yeah, your job's pretty easy today...All you gotta do now is stand there and let me look at'cha~" Chrys' pupils thinned as he flirted with her mom. She was seeing a cocky, no good, speeding, town wrecking bastard.

The teenager gave out a low warning hiss as he didn't stop.

"Listen, I'm gonna cut to the chase. Me, you, dinner." The racer then flashed the reflection of a silver sticker at Sally's eyes, making her yelp. "Ca-Chow!"

Chrys had enough as she shifted to her true form and gave a hissing shriek, scaring the racer. "Stay away from my mother!"

The red car tried to back away, but the boot he had on one of his tires prevented it as Chrys raised her stinger like a scorpion's and nearly stuck him, if not for the judge.

"Chrys, that's enough." The creature backed off and hissed at the racer before circling to leave. She was not happy.

"W-what is that?!"

Chrys looked back at the racer and answered in a gravelly and low voice. "Your worst nightmare."

The creature then sat outside the court until Doc, Mater, and the race car came out. Course the racer was being towed.

Doc then revealed Bessie as Chrys stretched and her spine popped and cracked, much to her pleasure.

"I'm hereby sentencing you to community serves. You're gonna fix the road under my supervision."

"What?! This place is crazy!" The red car was not happy with this as Chrys used her claws to pick at some pebbles near her.

Mater whispered something to the racer and Chrys was looking at the damage done to the road. It was torn down the middle and the creature didn't like the sight.

"So, we're gonna hitch you up to sweet Bessie, and you're gonna pull her nice."

"You gotta be kidding me!" Chrys hissed at the race car, and he seemed to back off.

"You start there where the road begins, you finish down there where the road ends." The three cars drove over to where Chrys was and looked at the torn road.

"Holy Shoot!" Mater shouted, making Chrys chuckle.

"Woah, woah, woah, how long is this going to take?" Chrys then left, running until she made it to the speed trap where Sheriff and Sally were waiting.

Soon the racer showed up and was losing steam. "Out of gas?! How can I be out of gas?!"

Sheriff laughed, making the presence of the three known. "Boy, we ain't as dumb as you think we are."

"B--b-but how did you-?!"

Sally agreed as she motioned to Chrys. "My daughter here had the idea to siphon your gas while you were passed out."

"Told you I was your worst nightmare." Chrys laughed as she looked at the car's face.

Sally used her headlight to flash a light into his eyes as he did hers earlier. "Ca-Chow."

Chrys then got to work using her smaller limbs to push the racer back to town. He was whining the whole way and halfway there the creature had enough.

"Could you stop whining? That's supposed to be what Sheriff has to deal with." The racer listened as her voice wasn't gravelly or threatening anymore. It sounded sweet but sarcastic and strict.

"What are you?"

"I'm Chrys. What are you?"

"A racer, you know, Lightning McQueen?" Chrys shrugged and huffed. "Never heard of you."

"You never seen a race before?" Lightning was confused about the creature as she continued to push him.

"I don't get out of town much."
