Gracie giggles as she watches Finding Nemo with Stefan and Rebekah in their bed, the three of them having a movie marathon while the others prep for the sacrifices the next night. Stefan smiles as Gracie starts singing along with Dory, secretly filming her. Rebekah smiles and catches his eye "Send that to me." she mouths, Stefan smiling and nodding in confirmation as he sends it to her. Gracie giggles as she cuddles between her parents happily "You enjoying yourself Baby Girl?" Stefan asks, brushing her fringe out her face. "Yeah! I love movie days!" Gracie cheers, giggling slightly. Through out the movie, Gracie gets quieter and quieter "You alright Baby?" Rebekah asks. "I feel yucky." Gracie whimpers. Stefan gently feels her forehead with the back of his hand "She's burning up." He frowns. Gracie whines slightly making Rebekah mover her onto her lap "How about we go find a book to read while Daddy finds some medicine?" she suggests. Gracie shakes her head, nuzzling into Rebekah as she falls asleep quickly.
Stefan frowns slightly, looking worried "What is it Stefan?" Rebekah asks. "She's never been sick." he responds. "Ever?" Rebekah asks in surprise. "She's part vampire, I didn't think it was possible." Stefan explains. Rebekah nods in response, both of them looking at the door as Damon walks in with Lexi "Hey, Princess asleep?" Damon asks, noticing her curled up on Rebekah. "She's sick." Stefan responds. "I didn't know she could get sick." Lexi tells him. "Because she's never been sick." Stefan tells her. "This is bad then?" Damon asks in concern. "I don't know." Stefan tells his brother. "Let's take her downstairs, maybe she'll feel better after something to eat." Rebekah suggests, getting up with Gracie in her arms. Gracie whines and hides her face in Rebekah's neck "You're alright Baby." Rebekah tells her, carrying her downstairs.
Walking into the living room, the four of them find Klaus, Elijah, Kol and Finn sitting around reading "What's wrong with Mini Me?" Kol asks, seeing Gracie clinging to Rebekah. "She's sick and we don't know how." Stefan responds. "She's a child, they all get sick sometimes." Elijah says. "Which is true, except the fact she's never been sick, ever." Stefan explains. Kol frowns and gets up, going over and feeling Gracie's forehead "How long has she been this hot?" he asks. "We realised a few minutes ago. She got quieter while we were watching the movie, which made us realise something was wrong." Stefan responds. Gracie whines slightly, her eyes fluttering "Hey Little Witch. Want to come to me while Mummy and Daddy get you some medicine and food?" Kol asks her gently. Gracie nods and puts her arms out to him, Kol taking her as Rebekah and Stefan head to the kitchen. Nuzzling into Kol, Gracie falls back to sleep immediately "This isn't normal, she shouldn't be able to get sick. She's part vampire, Stefan's vampire blood runs through her veins." Kol says, sitting down with Gracie's head against his chest. As he says this, Damon's phone rings.
Rolling his eyes when he sees the contact he answers it, putting it on speaker as he does "What is it Elena?" he asks. "I wanted to check in with you all, see how Gracie is." Elena responds. "What did you do Elena?" Damon all but growls. "I haven't done anything, why?" Elena asks 'innocently'. Klaus takes the phone "If I find out you have done something to hurt my niece, I'll kill you before tonight. Sacrifice or not." he threatens. "I didn't do anything." Elena says. Kol wraps his arms protectively round Gracie, Stefan speeding into the room and taking the phone "What do you want Elena?" he asks. "Stefan?" Elena asks, everyone rolling their eyes when they hear the smile in her voice. "Elena." Stefan responds. "Come back to me, we can be happy again." Elena tells him. "I'm not going through this again Elena. The only girls I need in my life are Gracie and Rebekah, not you." he tells her. "Fine, I wont tell you what's wrong with Gracie then." Elena retorts, hanging up the phone. Stefan growls, Damon taking his phone back before his brother can crush it. Lexi takes Stefan's hands "Hey, we'll find out what's wrong with her Stefan. Okay?" she tells him. Stefan nods "I'm going to find some medicine for her." he mumbles, speeding into the kitchen.
