Gracie giggles as she runs along the beach with Finn playfully chasing her "Okay, I admit, it was a good idea to come to the beach for the weekend. Even if we had to travel most the day to get here yesterday." Kol admits from where he's sat next to Bonnie. "Gracie hasn't been to the beach since she was nearly two." Stefan smiles as he watches Finn catch her. Bonnie looks over "I think I found a spell that'll allow her to grow at a normal rate." she tells him. "Really?" he asks. "Yeah, I watched to see if I could find anything before I told you though. I didn't want to get your hopes up, I know how much you want her to grow at a normal pace." Bonnie smiles. Rebekah sits up from where she's sunbathing with Caroline "We both do, we want her to have friends her age that won't grow up before she does." she admits, Stefan nodding. "I'll look at the spell with Finn and Bonnie tomorrow, make sure nothing will happen." Kol tells his sister and Stefan, the couple nodding. The four of them look over and laugh as they see Gracie and Finn throw water at Klaus and Elijah, Finn running with Gracie in his arms as Klaus starts chasing them.
After a while, Gracie runs over and jumps into Stefan's arms "Are Uncle Damey and Auntie Lexi nearly here?" she asks. "Yeah, they just had some... adult things to do this morning." Stefan smiles, making her nod and sit in his lap as he eats the sandwich Caroline passes her. Rebekah smiles as she reapplies Gracie's sunscreen, Gracie scrunching her nose slightly but not complaining "Mummy, we get ice cream later?" she asks. "I'm sure we can get ice cream later." Rebekah smiles, Gracie smiling back. "Does that mean we get some too?" Damon smiles, walking over with Lexi. "Uncle Damey! Auntie Lexi!" Gracie grins, giving Stefan her sandwich and running over. Damon chuckles slightly and picks her up, spinning her slightly before putting her on his hip "Miss us, Princess?" he asks. "Mhm, Daddy said you have adult things this morning though. What adult things were you doing?" Gracie asks, tilting her head and not noticing the slight blush on their faces as Stefan grins. "Secret adult things that you'll understand when your older." Lexi tells her. "Otay." Gracie nods, jumping out of Damon's arms and running back over to her sandwich. Damon playfully glares at Stefan who silently laughs, Kol shaking with his own laughter as Caroline, Rebekah and Bonnie smile. Gracie, oblivious to this, goes over to Elijah and sits on his lap with her book "Uncle 'Lijah, you read please?" she asks. "Of course, Little Dove." Elijah smiles, opening the book and beginning to read as Gracie eats.

That evening, Gracie giggles as Stefan jumps into the swimming pool with her on his back. Rebekah playfully glares at Stefan as she ends up being splashed "Rude." she tells him. "Sorry." Stefan smiles, kissing her. Gracie climbs round so she between them "You want to try swimming to me, Baby?" Rebekah asks. "Yeah, I getting better now." Gracie smiles with a nod. "Okay." Rebekah smiles, taking a few steps back. Stefan puts his arms out next to Gracie as she start swimming across, her armbands keeping her afloat. Rebekah smiles and puts out her hands in front of her, Gracie grabbing hold of them as she reaches her "I did it!" she grins. "You did!" Stefan smiles, kissing her head as Rebekah kisses her cheek. Gracie giggles her arms round Rebekah's neck "You did amazing Baby Girl." Rebekah tells her. "I'm stealing her." Kol says, swimming over. Gracie grins and jumps into his arms "Papa Kol!" she exclaims. "Mini Me!" Kol exclaims back, putting her on his back and swimming off with her. Rebekah and Stefan smiles, Stefan pulling Rebekah into his arms "I love you." he tells her. Rebekah smiles and turns to face him "I love you too." she tells him, giving him a gentle kiss. "Ewww, Mummy no kiss Daddy! He has cooties! Uncle Damey said so." Gracie exclaims from across the pool. "Oh, did he?" Stefan asks, giving his brother a look. "Karma has a way, Stevie." Damon grins, his arm round Lexi who is silently laughing.
