"And you just turned on the water?", Amber asked. "Oh god. I mean guess if he was some pervert. You really trust people to easy.", she added. I rolled my eyes. "I may trust alot of people but he really didn't seem to be interested to spy on me while I was peeing.", I gave back and took the cup out of her hand. I took a sip and coughed.
"What the hell is that?", I asked. "The punsh. It gets better after a while. Trust me.", Amber said laughing. "And to come back to the topic.. that guy was pretty cute.", I said with a smile. Amber face lit up. "And then you just left. You should have asked him to join you this evening.", she said. "I just peed when he was in the same room. How can I ask him? Way to embarassing!", I said and huffed out some air.
The night went on and we got a little tipsy but I never drink so much I get wasted. I was looking for Amber who wanted to get something to eat out of the kitchen. I ran into a group who was playing truth or dare or better dare or drink. If you don't want to do the dare you have to take a shot.
If you are a chicken you get drunk pretty easily. "...the next girl who enters this room.", I just heared befor someone pulled me to him and kissed me. Woa.. what was going on? Befor the shock wore of it was over again. I looked into a familiare face which was smiling at me. "Sorry. It was a dare.", N said.
I blinked a few times. "Oh. Well glad I could help out.", I gave back. The others were wistleing and yelling. "Come on. Your turn to give a dare.", someone said to N. I was still standing there looking at him. Hakyeon turned around. "Go kiss Bjoo.", he said to the guy. "I have no urge to die in my best years.", he said and quickly drank a shot. "You want to grab a drink and chill?", N asked as he turned around again.
I nod. "Sure. But I'm done with alcohol tonight.", I said with a smile. "No problem.", he said. So we both grabbed Icetea out of the fridge. He told me Hansol would have nothing against that. On our way back into the livingroom me passed Amber who was flirting with a guy. She winked at me and I waved back.
As we were about to sit down a familiare voice came from behind us. "Haaaakeyon!" "Oh god. No.", N mumbled befor turning around. A blond barbie girl was makeing her way to us through the crowd. Befor I was thinking what I could do I pushed N on the couch and sat on his lap leaning in for a kiss. I didn't acually kiss him. I stopped a few millimeters befor our lips could touch. But for people from far away it looked like a real kiss.
I heared her stop infront of us. She stumped her foot. "Urg.. bitch!", I heared her say befor her footsteps lead away from us. To be sure we wouldn't ge tought I stayed like that a few more seconds. "She's gone.", he said and his lips brushed over mine. I quicky moved away and sat next to him. Now the actin was over I blushed a bit. "Uhm.. sorry. I don't know what came over me.", I said. I nomaly don't act that way. Probably the alcohol and the fact he's cute made my mind blurry, I thought to myself.
He smiled at me. "You just saved my life. That would have been a torture if she reached me.", he said. I was relifed he didn't think I was intrusive. After that incident we had a great time. We talked alot about things and I felt like we had alot in common. He was two years older then me so that's why we just discovered we never noticed us in school. I mean in collage we never have the same classes and stuff. He also lived here his whole life just a few streets from Ambers house. N told me he knew Ken but in high school he wasn't as populare as him so he never really talked to him.
"That is so crazy. Like think of if you would have been friends with him we would have known eachother so much earlier. But better late then never, right?", I said laughing. "True.", he said with a grin. "So where do you live?", he asked. "15 Minutes away from Amber. Not to far actually. I live with my mom and my sister... well mostly I do.", I said sighing. "Why mostly?", he asked.
I told him about the situation at home and that I consider to have a second home at Ambers. "You see the guys over there?", I ask and pointed into the direction Ken and his friends were standing. "They are Kens best friends and they all consider me as their younger sister.", I said laughing. Right in that moment Ken looked over to me and waved. His eyes fell on N and for a second he looked confused. Then recognition showed and he walked ofer to us. "Wow. Look who got so handsome. How is it going, Hakyeon... oh no, right.. it was N, wasn't it?", Ken said with a smile. I have to admit he could have been a douch in high school but that was just a image he wore. After he realised his friends acually like him and his jokes he dropped it. "Oh wow. The great Ken recognised me? What an honor.", N said sarcasticly. "Oh drop it. I know I was a douch back in school and I'm sorry.", he said and pounted. N laughed. I mean who couldn't forgive that face, I thought and smiled as well.
"So what have you been upto lately?", Ken asked and sat down next to us. "Collage stuff.", N said. "Oh really. I ditched collage. Working my butt of. But I don't regret it. Also have to take care of these two. By the way.. where is Amber?", he asked and looked around the room. "Firstly.. you only want to look after us. Noone told you to and we only need your driving ability.", I said. "Ouch.", Ken said and played as if he got shot in the heart. "And secondly Amber is flirting with some guy in the other room.", I said. "What? You should have said that firstly.", he said and jumped up. "I didn't because you wouldn't have listend to the rest. Ken. Just leave her. She is not a baby anymore. I think we both are 18. Sh chill.", I said but he was already running of. Hongbin, Hyuk and Leo were following him.
"Oh god. I will get to hear from Amber later.", I said sighing. I need to think befor I talk. I turned to N who was chuckling. "I guess you have problems finding a boyfriend with that squad behind you.", he said. "You bet. On every party we go together Amber gets mad at Ken because he always scares away her flirts. I never really had a boyfriend so I can't tell if he is as extreme with me then he is with his actual sister. Good thing he didn't scare you away.", I said with a smile.
"Maybe because he knows I'm gay.", he said with a laugh. I looked at him in surprise. "You are what?", I asked in a shocked tone. "Uhm.. I'm gay. Came out in high school. Rough time I tell you. But that's no problem for you, right?", he asked with a worried expression. I sighed. "No...", I said. "Uhm but you don't sound comfortable anymore.", he said.
"No really. I always wished for a gay best friend. I think it was just because I kind of liked you. Crazy I know. We just met.", I said. "I'm sorry. I should have told you from the beginning. And the fact that a girl was after me wasn't helping eather.. and the kiss. You know most guys here are gay. Hansols and Joos friends. That's why they dared me to kiss a girl. Uhm.. again. Sorry.", he said with a apologetic voice. "Don't be sorry. I just didn't thought of the fact that I'm on a party hosted by a gay couple. Should have guessed the procent of people being gay is higher.", I said laughing. "But now that this is of the table, you are a good kisser and every boy could be happy to call you his.", I said with a wink. "Thanks.", he said laughing.
"Whyyy? SARRAA!", I heared a voice coming near me. "Ohoh... I'm in trouble.", I wisper befor I look up. Amber just reached me and plopped down next to me. "Why did you tell Ken? You know how he is.", she said. "I'm sorry, Love! It slipped out and befor I ould stop him he was gone.", I apologised. "He was about to kiss me when Ken came and wanted to talk to that guy. Then he literally ran away screaming. I really want to know what he is always telling them..", she said noe more to her self.
"By the way. This is N.", I said to her and pointed to N who was now waving at Amber. "Oh.. the guy from the bathroom? You're right. He is kind of cute. You should make out with him befor Ken comes back.", she said. Wow. Thanks Amber. She was more drunk then I am. Befor I could say something N said "We did. She's a good kisser but I remembered I am gay sooo... Oh and thanks. You two are cute as well." He ended his sentence with a wink towards the confused, or maybe shocked?, Amber. "Wait.. what?"
"N. I'm leaving. You want a ride?", a guy suddenly said next to the couch. "Sure. Be right there. Wait for me outside.", he said. "Well ladys. Need to go. That was my friend from collage. He's here with his car to drop me off at home. Better then walking.", he said smiling. N pulled out his phone and gave it to me. "Let's work on your wish for a gay best friend. Give me your number. I would really love to hang out with you again.", he said. I quickly typed in my nummer. "Nice. I'll text you.", he said and with that he was gone.
"Uhm.. you still need to tell me what he was talking about.", Amber said. "I will tomorrow when you're sober again. Let's get going too. It's 3am and I'm tired.", I told her. We went to find Ken and the others. Amber was still angry at Ken but soon fell asleep when we were in the car. "It was nice seeing N. I feel sorry I was such a douch to him because he is gay.", Ken said. "Yes. You should. That's nothing you should make fun of.", I scold him. "I know.", he said rueful.
