In Between (A Navi Fanfic) [On Hold]

The Plan

I woke up in Ambers bed next to her. I glanzed at the alarmclock on her nightstand. Almost noon. I streched and yawned. Then I stood up to let Amber sleep some more and grab a glass of water and something to eat in the kitchen.
There I bumped into Ambers dad who was sitting at the table with a cup of coffee and a newspaper in his hand. "Morning.", I said as I entered. He looked up and smiled at me. "Well look who's up. Did you sleep well, Sara?", he asked. "Sure did.", I gave back with a grin. "I'll make some eggs, toast and beacon. Want any?", I asked him while I'll got out the ingredients.
I loved being over here. They treat me like a second daughter and I feel free to do anything here. "Oh no, me and my wife ate already. But thanks.", he said. I already figured but still. It's their house. So I quickly made breakfast and fixed three plates which I all put on a tablet to bring upstairs. I took one plate and sneeked into Kens room to put it on his nightstand. He usually wakes up from the smell. Then I went back to Amber and sat on her bed crosslegged.
"Morning sleepyhead.", I said after I saw an eye open and heared a nose sniffing in the air. "You schould sleep over 24/7. I'd love to wake up to that every morning.", a grumpy voice said befor Amber slowly sat up. "How did I even get into my bed?", she asked.
"Well Ken and I had to carry you all the way after you fell asleep in the car.", I explained her. She laughed. "Upsies..", was all she said to that. While we ate, Amber suddanly remembered something. "That guy last night.. didn't he say you two kissed?", she asked. I coughed at her sudden question and laughed. "Oh right. I wanted to tell you about that. Almost forgot. So.. uhm.. he was dared to kiss the next girl who walked into the kitchen and that happend to be me.", I told her.
Amber got all excited. "And how was it?", she asked. "I think you forgot the fact he is gay. That's why it was a dare for him.", I said. "What? Aw man. Do you have some invisible sighn around your neck 'gays to me'?", she asked. Honestly I already asked myself that question already. All the guys I think I would match with, turn out to be gay. I laughed. "Maybe. But you know what I thought? Ravi is single... N is single... Wouldn't they fit perfectly?", I told her about my thoughts.
Amber looked at me surprised. "You think?! Well I didn't really talked much to N. You should know better. But not an bad idea.", she said with a smirk. "How did you plan it? Just let them meet eachother?", Amber continued to ask. "Yes. Just plan something with both of them and we suddenly need to leave after a while.", I said with a smirk.
So we continued to think of ways to get them two together. Now I'm the girl in between the two gay guys who she liked, I thought and had to laugh to myself.

--- Monday at school ---

"Hey pretty boy. Had a good weekend?", I said as I bumped into Ravi on the way to class. We didn't make it to come together because Ravi overslept. "Oh hey. Yeah, pretty much. And you?", he asked after he hugged me for a hello. "Went to a Party from a friend of one of Kens friends. Was nice getting out after sometime and meeting new people.", I said smiling.
"Nice. Glad you had fun.", he gave back. We were about to enter our class we had together when I hold him back. "By the way.. because the party was so short planned I couldn't invite you but how about we plan something together with Amber next weekend?", I said. His smile was stunning. I lightly shook my head to focus back on what he is about to say. "Hey. Don't worry about the party. But I'd love to hang out again with you two. You seemed to avoid me a few days last week. Well thats how it felt to me. It has nothing to do with me being gay, right?", he suddanly added to his agreement.
Oh damn. I hoped he didn't noticed. "Uhm well.. I think you have to know. Amber and me didn't really knew you were gay since you really told us. And the time I didn't know my heart kind of developed some feelings for you. But don't worry. I'll get over it.", I stuttered. His eyes raised in surprise. "Wow.. uhm, I really didn't know. I am so sorry. I should have told you the first time we met.", he said with a worried face.
Befor I could tell him again he shouldn't worry, our teacher walked in and told us to sit down. 'Let's talk later.', he mouthed.

--- After school at Ambers ---

"Sooo... for the hunderts time. It was not your fault she had feelings for you! So stop saying sorry every two seconds.", Amber told Ravi as she turned on her bed to lay on her stomach to look at him. "Yes okay. I just feel so so...", he started. "Nooo! Don't you dare say it.", I said laughing. "But let's plan our weekend. How about going to grab something to eat and hit the movies afterwards. I still need to watch Pitch Perfect 2.", I suggested.
"Sounds good. How 'bout you?", Amber said to Ravi. "Same. Text me the time. I need to go. Minhyuk asked me for my help today with something.", Ravi said after a quick look at the time. "Okay. See ya tomorrow!", we both said as he quickly left.
Amber hurried over to the couch to sit next to me. "Okay. Now text N!", she said all excited. "Okay. Okay. Chill. I hope he has time.", I calmed her down. I grabbed my phone and texted N if he would be down to hang with us this weekend and if he would like to go to the movies to watch Picht Perfect 2. We waited a while and Amber got impationt. We just started to do our homework when I got a text back.
Amber jumped to my phone. "He says he has time and loved to see us again. But he has to work part-time 'til 6pm. I'll text him back, okay?", she read the text. I nod and she started typing. "That's okay. We can meet at the mall at 6:30pm if that's okay. We want to grab something to eat befor that and the movie would start at 8pm." Then she hit send. The answer came much faster this time.
"It'll be a bit hectic for me to drive there only in an half an hour. Is it okay if I just meet you to see the movie?", Amber read again. "I guess thats fine. I mean we can spent some time with Ravi first.", I said smiling. So we set the time with N for 7:45pm inftont of the movies and texted Ravi to meet us at 6:30pm to get something befor the movie beginns. "I'm so excited! I never hooked someone up with someone else. I really hope they like eachother.", Amber said.
"I know. I think they would match perfectly. But befor that let's finish these homeworks!", I said laughing.
