The Land God new room mate (Tomoe Love Story)

The move in

Your Pov

After your mother died a year ago your father ignored your presence and will punish you if you don't do your chores which were a lot. You were home schooled as your father didn't have the money to  send you to a real school, but because of the accident you never really had any school anymore and was forced to work so you can saved up for real school. You finally have enough money to go to real school and this is where you met your friend Namami.

After school Namami would come to your work (you're a waiter at a coffee shop) and hang out you knew she lived in a shrine, but never knew that she was actually a land god, then one day after work you saw Namami got attack by a demon looking thing and was about to be thrown of a bridge you ran to save her, but before you could reach her blue fire engulf the demon and was destroyed. Namami still went over the bridge and into the water you knew she wasn't a good swimmer so you dived in to save her after that a guy with white hair that looked like a fox came to your side and was saying sorry to Namami for her to get hurt like that, but she just smiled and said she was fine it seems like they didn't see you so you quietly disappear and went home unbeknown to you purple eyes followed your drenched form. When you got home you completely forgot about the chores you where suppose to do and it was really late when you enter the house you got hit over the head with a bottle and passed out when you woke your where hanging from the ceiling by your hands and your father had a evil smirk on its "your little bitch you think you can ignore your responsibilities at this house?! Now I will teach you a lesson". After that he began to hit you with a whip over your back you try to hold back your screams you will not give him that satisfaction and then you passed out.

Tomoe Pov

After you destroyed the yokai with your fox fire you looked around for your master to ask if she was okay, but you couldn't find her after looking around you saw a girl ran to the edge of the bridge and jump down into the water, your eyes widen "stupid girl she will drown" You ran to the edge to see her saving Namami that couldn't swim she dragged her to the shore you jumped down to your master ignore the girl looking with worried at your master "Namami I'm so sorry I should have been at your side sooner this would have never happened, please forgive me" I pleaded with Namami she took my shaking hands and with a smile told me I should not worried she was fine. After a sign of relive I saw movement on my right side and looked to see the girl that save Namami walking away I followed her thinking I should thank her for saving Namami's life, but decided that Namami needed me more now and so I took her home. When we got home I asked Namami about the girl that saved her "That's (Y/N) she is the new student in my class I should thank her for saving me today, maybe we should go over to her house now and maybe bring a gift for her" Namami said while coming out of her room in dried cloths "Yes, maybe we should do you know where this girl lives?" I asked Namami, she made a weird I don't know face causing me to do an anime fall "Then why did you suggest we go to her house, if you don't know where she even lives stupid girl!" I yelled at her "then maybe we should just thank her at school". "yes that seems like the logical way to go" After that we decided on the girls present and went to bed, but I can't shake of this weird feeling I have of that girl.

You Pov

You couldn't sleep the whole weekend because of the injuries on you back, as you made your way to school you encountered Namami and the white haired guy but without the fox ears and tail you are now starting to have second thoughts of seeing. Namami saw you and started to call your name as she ran to you hugging you tightly making you wince in pain but tried your best to hide it, as she let you go she thanked you and gave you a small package that hold a little fox plusie you couldn't hide your smile when you saw it, it was really cute and you love cute things "thank you Namami for this it's really cute I love it, but you shouldn't have I did what any friend would have done." I said with a smile "No human would be stupid enough to jump of a bridge to save a friend." Tomoe said as he looked at you, this made you a bit irritated and you couldn't hide "Then what was I suppose to do you stupid fox, yes I know what you are do you want me to just let her drowned and let you save her last time I saw you were still busy killing that demon thing!" I yelled causing his eye's to widen in shock then a irk mark appeared on his head "No she would have been fine when I showed up why don't you just go mind your own business you stupid human girl" he yelled "You calling me stupid you're the stupid one showing up late like that what are you anyway a lazy ass bodyguard for Namami you need to go back to training" this went on for a while until the bell rang you both now angry at each other until Namami chipped in "Guys, guys cut it out no one is in the wrong here let's just forget the whole thing and go to class" Namami tried to stop the augment and  started dragging Tomoe away. When they left all you can think about is how annoying that guy is and that you have now decided to hate the unappreciated fox boy, yes you didn't think twice about jumping in to save her, but if you didn't there might be a chance that she wouldn't have made it and since Namami is your only friend, maybe not anymore if she keeps hanging out with fox boy, then you wanted to keep her save.

You entered the class room seeing Tomoe and Namami sitting next to each other talking about something called being a land god, but stopped when Tomoe saw you enter the class room and taking your seat by the window. You didn't pay attention in class and when break started you slowly packed your things away and made your way to the roof top where you go everyday to eat lunch.

Tomoe pov

Namami yelled at me for being so rude to her friend making me mad again "Lady Namami you are the land god and the duties of a familiar is to protect the land god at all cost not a mere human girl" I said Namami was about to say something when the girl walked in I gave Namami a look that said to be quite and she understood the rest of the time I notice the girl was not paying any attention to the class but was looking outside the whole time. "Stupid girl if what Namami said was true of her not being able to afford school then she should be paying more attention to the teacher and not the outside world" I thought as I directed my attention to my work then the school bell rang for lunch me and Namami went to out usually spot outside to eat with her friends that's where I notice movement on the roof top thinking it may be the stupid crow I choose to ignore it, until the bell rang signally the start of the new class. I went back to class with Namami and we both notice the girl was not there anymore Namami was getting nervous "Maybe she went home" I told Namami this seem to calm her down a bit after school was over me and Namami was the last in class because the teacher want us to clean the class room and as Namami's familiar I could not allow her to clean the classroom by herself with these perverted boys around "Namami can you go to the roof and dust of the erasers please" a random boy asked Namami. "Sure will do" she replied and went to the roof, I decided to stay back and gather our things together as everyone left for home. When Namami burst into the room patting I immediately went to her side "Miss Namami what's wrong did someone try to attack you are you hurt anywhere? I asked her franticly "No I'm not hurt but (Y/N) is she's passed out on the roof top" She said running to the roof again me following close behind "The girl was the one I saw on the roof today, but way is she passed out" I thought as we got to the roof Namami went to the girls side "(Y/N) please wake up what happened" Namami asked tears beginning to start I went to the girls side and saw blood sweeping out the back "Miss Namami it looks like she has an injury on her back we need to get her some medical attention immediately" I said to Namami "Alright let's take her to the hospital now" Namami said to me as I picked the girl up bridal style we went to the hospital, but I couldn't help think was it because she saved Namami and encountered the  injuries while she was saving my mistress and if it she is a stupid human for not getting her injuries checked out beforehand. We were all sitting in the waiting room as Namami didn't want to leave her alone until she knows that she is fine later the nurse came out "Are you the friends that brought in (Y/N)? "Yes we are miss if she going to be alright?" Namami asked "Yes she will be, but I'm afraid that the injuries was her father's doing and since she has no family living here that will be able to discharge her I will be force to call the police and protective child services so she will be put in a home" the nurse said my eyes widen her father's doing how can that be" I thought quietly until Namami interrupted my thoughts "Say Tomoe why don't we take her in you can sign for the guardianship?" "What no are you crazy I will not have another human living at the shrine" I screamed at her.

~Few hours later~

You Pov

I looked at my new home which was a shrine, Namami dragged me through the whole thing giving me a grand tour and then finally showed me to my room which was decorated in (F/C) I smiled at her I absolutely love it. Tomoe was not as excited as Namami was, but I don't mind anything to annoy that stupid fox made my day. I learned everything about Namami and Tomoe and by some miracle I can see the two shrine spirits Onikiri and Kotetsu they became my favorite people and we would play games together after my chores of course that Tomoe so happily gave me to do since I will be living with them for free.

And so starts my life here at the Mikage Shrine.
