The Fever part 2

You and Kotetsu were on your way to the portal that would take us back to the real world when suddenly and old woman was walking your way you notice her but didn't pay any attention to her when she fall you rushed to her side to make sure she was alright, but was stopped by Kotetsu "Don't lady (Y/N) she is a witch and will eat you" he told you while pulling you back when he finish saying that the old woman sprang back up with a butchers knife in her hand "What the hell" you yelled while running through the woods dragging Kotetsu with you "Come back you human if I eat human meat I will live for another 100 years" she yelled after you she's very fast you think while still running you saw the portal "Kotetsu we almost there be prepared to close it once we are through" I told him he just nodded you tripped over a branch landing on your already sore shoulder you could feel it bleeding "Lady (Y/N) get up she's almost on top of us" Kotetsu said you looked behind you and saw her coming you got up but saw when you fell all the food and medicine you bought was now all over the place you grab what you could and went though the portal. Once on the other side you and Kotetsu laid on the ground trying to catch your breath "That.. was... so... close" you said between breaths you looked at what you grab and was happy to see you got the cough syrup and the fever medicine but the food and other things was still left behind you felt a little disappointed for not being able to feed Tomoe. "Lady (Y/N) you bleeding" Kotetsu said you looked at your shoulder and you were right by thinking when you fell you hit your shoulder "oh yeah, alright I will take care of it later right now I need to give Tomoe his medicine" I said while getting up and going to his bedroom.

Tomoe pov

I was still laying in bed wondering where (Y/N) was when she came into the room "Hey how you feeling" she said while putting a hand on my forehead and take my temperature I couldn't help noticing that she looks real tired "(Y/N) is everything alright you seem a little tired, why don't you go lay down a bit I will be fine" I said "No No I'm fine I got you some medicine here take this I'm sure it will help you" She said and gave me some pills I look closely at them and notice they are special medicine for yokai's but that means she went to the world over yonder to get them "Where did you get this medicine" I asked her she straighten up a bit "Uhm...Uhm...you know the worldoveryonder" she said very quickly "You went to the world over yonder why" I ask getting a bit frustrated "It was the only way to get you some medicine and food, but we where attack by some witch and drop the food I manage to grab the medicine though" she said with a smile "You did this for me why?" I couldn't help myself asking "This is what friends do" she said friends she think of me as a friend I couldn't help but smile at that it sounds right not enemies anymore but friends, "did you get hurt retrieving the medicine?" "mmm no but when I fell I did hurt my shoulder, but its fine nothing to worry about, now take the medicine I will get the you another damp towel" she said before she left I grab her hand and could feel the blush rises "Thank you, (Y/N)" I said and could have swore I saw her blush and this made me really happy for some reason. I took the medicine and went to sleep the best sleep I got in a while later the night I felt something cold on my forehead, knowing it was (Y/N).

The next morning I woke up feeling better than ever when I lifted my hand up to feel my fever is gone, I let my hand dangle down the side of the bed and brush against something soft I looked down and found (Y/N) curled up in a little ball on the floor next to me clutching the medicine and towels to her chest she must have stayed up all night taking care of me " I reach down and pulled her up with one hand, damn what does this girl eat she's so light I thought as I pulled her sleeping form closer to my chest and smelled her hair it smells like vanilla, I couldn't help but notice the tiny drops of blood coming from her new bandages, I made a silent promise that I will never let anything happen to her again she will not spill other drop of blood from this day on wards as long as I'm there to protect her. We stayed like this for a while when Namami and Mizuki bust into the shrine yelling "We back!" damn those two ruining this perfect moment I stood up and picked up the small girl and put her in her bed, before going to the front and went to greet the two idiots.
