Everyone in the room was horrified hearing this. Xena stood there like a statue for a few minutes, unable to believe what she had just heard. All she could hear was the muffled voice of the prince shouting. After the prince shook her vigorously, she came back to her senses. The prince started shouting that Xena must leave the premises. However, Xena stood up for herself and shouted back, asking him to stop shouting and listen to her. She claimed that it was misinformation and swore that her father would never do such a thing. She said that she and her family had been loyal to the throne for decades and would never think of betraying it. The prince scoffed at Xena's confidence and said that he would never believe that nonsense. He ordered her to leave the premises immediately before he blew her away. Xena refused and said, "I am not leaving Her Majesty alone, especially not now when she needs me the most. I know I have lost Your Highness's trust, but I am not just a loyal servant who blindly follows her master. I am much more than that, and I don't care what others think. I am not leaving Her Majesty alone! However, Your Highness, I will prove to you that I am not a betrayer, and neither is my father. It's a matter of my family's dignity, and I have no choice but to prove you wrong."
This made the Prince furious, and he took out his gun and pointed it at her, saying, "If you don't leave right now, I won't hesitate for a moment to shoot you. I don't care that we are in public and on hospital premises."
Xena surrendered and started to leave, as she didn't want to disturb the treatment. After taking a few steps, she turned back and said, "I know that right now you are not in a state to listen to my explanation and trust me. However, I know who I am, and so does Her Majesty, and that matters to me the most. If what you have said is the truth, I myself will surrender my father to Her Majesty, and I will regain your trust."
She left, saying this. The Prince scoffed at her and turned around to see his sister, who was receiving treatment. The Prince cried at the sight.
