after a few weeks, it became almost impossible for one boy to be seen without the other. seungmin and hyunjin were inseparable.

everywhere one boy went, the other was just behind him. it was endearing to say the least. their relationship reached a point where they would spend so much time together, that they'd just stay the night seeing as it would be too dark for the other to return home.

... even though they lived right next to each other.

this time wasn't any different. hyunjin yawned as he looked at the time. "it's midnight," he turned to the boy laying down.

seungmin shrugged at him. "alright, stay over again," he signed, as if it was the most obvious thing on the planet. hyunjin enjoyed spending the night. even though they'd never bring it up, they almost craved the need to sleep together, looking forward to their cuddling sessions.

hyunjin nodded as he kicked his shoes off and sat on the younger's bed. he folded his legs crisscrossed as seungmin was laid out beside him. they were formulating their own little world, just the two of them.

well, more like three of them.

"meow!" seungmin's cat screamed. hyunjin cringed at the sound, turning his head to see the creature asking to be picked up. sighing, he reached down, picking up mimi, as seungmin had clarified her name was, and placed her on his legs.

seungmin giggled at the view. he could tell that hyunjin wasn't all too fond of mimi, but he still treated her kindly even if his face read differently.

"she likes you," seungmin signaled towards the cat. hyunjin half smiled as he looked down at her. she had the constant habit of pushing her paws into him, clawing him as she continued the motion over and over again.

"i hate when she does this," he shared as he glared at the cat. seungmin rolled his eyes.

"that means she likes you! she's making you biscuits, see?" he pointed at her paws. hyunjin scoffed. all she was doing was conflicting pain onto him.

seungmin finally sat up, removing the same creature from the boys legs and placing her on his instead, petting her head in order to hypnotize her into staying in place.

"mimi isn't overly friendly with many. she rarely likes being touched by my own mother! to see her like you so much makes me happy," seungmin opened up to the older. suddenly, any minor bitter feelings he had towards the cat vanished.

"oh, that's... nice of her," he signed, a bit unsure. seungmin giggled, trying to ignore the effect of butterflies erupting in his stomach as he kept his eyes on the older.

hyunjin sat closer to the younger in order to pet mimi once again. seungmin's breath hitched as his nostrils filled up with the lovely scent of beaches and coconut. would be weird if he said he wanted to smell it for the rest of his life?

he silently prayed that the older would not be able to hear the way his heart started beating at a rapid pace. he was never the best at making excuses on the spot.

suddenly, hyunjin pulled away and turned to look at him, observing his face carefully. it only made seungmin even more nervous.

oh no, did he hear it?, the boy started panicking.

"why aren't you wearing your glasses, min?" hyunjin said, much to seungmin's relief. the boy looked around his room before pointing towards his desk.

"i usually wear them when I don't have contacts in. i mean, I don't have any in now, but- i guess I just forgot to put them on," he shrugged. hyunjin got up, walking towards his desk and picking up the frame. he skipped back to the bed, this time sitting and facing the other.

hyunjin leaned in, to the point where their noses almost touched. seungmin tried his best to avoid eye contact with the older and ended up shutting his eyes as he felt something on his face. hyunjin had opened up his glasses and placed them on his nose. after doing so, hyunjin grinned, a tint of pink on both his cheeks.

he made one more move before pulling away. using his index finger, he pulled the frame down seungmin's nose just a tiny bit. "there," he whispered to himself, seungmin understanding as he read the other's lips.

the younger felt like his heart was going to explode in any second now. never had he ever been so close to the other, but now? he wanted nothing more than to be as close to the other as possible.

he gulped, trying his best to shake the thoughts away. hyunjin tapped his shoulder in order to grab his attention. "I think glasses make you even cuter" he admitted.

kill me. kill me now. at this point, seungmin could have sworn he got his hearing back as he felt the strong vibrations of his heart beat in his ear drums.

"I think you're cute," seungmin signed in panic. he covered his mouth, shocked by what he had just conveyed. hyunjin bursted into laughter at the way the younger was expressing himself.

once he composed himself, he went and pulled seungmin's hands away from his face, using his own to pinch the younger's cheeks. "I don't think anything can be cuter than you," hyunjin mouthed slowly, knowing the other could manage a certain speed. seungmin was completely flushed.

at that point, mimi had to escape. she crawled out of the small space that was left between the two as she became annoyed by how they could have so easily disregarded her. hm!

I love cats hehe
