The rest of the week went by quickly. I had drained a lot of energy working on both things at school, and music for my new single. Once during the week, and I had set up for my usual stream and playing time, which, as usual, got me plenty of publicity, and some questions to answer. But besides that, it was the day of the ball, and I was rushing to get ready. I knew what dress to wear, the same one I wore to my mother's wedding. It was beige on top, with butterflies creating a belt to the black skirt, a few stray one's decorating the skirt. It flared out when I spun, and so I wore shorts under it like I would when wearing a skirt on stage. The butterflies gave it pops of color, each one being either blue, pink and purple like the bisexual flag, or shades of pinks and oranges like the lesbian flag.

I did a quick look in the mirror after strapping on black sandal heels, and pearl Jewlery. Dangle earrings, a bracelet, and simple necklace. I pushed my glasses up my face and started on my hair. I put it in a half up half down style, with a f/c hair clip, leaving my bangs and a few strands out to frame my face. Neutral makeup, and a pale pink lip topped it all off. I did one last glance in the mirror and smiled. I was gorgeous. Packing my purse, I walked down the stairs to meet mama.

I had mama drive me to the school, since she had said she could drive me. It wasn't that far of a drive, but she kept asking questions. Finally, I got the one I was dreading. "So do you have a date?"

"No mama, I don't. I was invited by the club hosting this."

"And you're going, why?" I had told her that the club was filled with boys, so she was probably confused.

"So, long story short, this cute girl got confused for a boy, and now is part of the club, and pretending to be a boy." I blushed. "I'm hoping I'll be able to dance with her." She awed at me. We pulled up to the school.

"Well, go get your girl hon." She teased lightly. I rolled my eyes, but a smile betrayed my face.

"We'll see mama." I gave her a hug. "See you later."

"Just call me when you're ready to go." She said, before I got out.

She drove off as I walked into the school. I walked around, admiring the room. I walked around, not really having a group to talk to, before this girl came up to me. "Hey! I love your outfit!" She said. My head snapped to her. She was actually pretty good looking. But I'm more into tomboys.

"Thank you." I said, feeling a little shy. "It's been in my closet for a year or so, waiting to be worn again. I'm glad it still fits." I was a little nervous, seeing as I don't have a clue who this girl is, but she's talking to me anyways. "I'm sorry, who are you?"

"Uramoto Kumiko, third year." She said. "It's nice to meet you!" She smiled at me.

"L/n y/n, second year."

"Oh! You're the other commoner student!" I nod. "I think I've seen you around actually. Not a morning person? You usually walk around with coffee in hand." I shrug.

"Yeah, but also a caffeine addict." I admitted.

"Can't say I blame you. Morning's suck, and caffeine rules." She chuckled, and I let out a small laugh. "So, who's your favorite host?"

"The only one I can actually stand who doesn't remind me of a brother, is haruhi." I didn't say anything about haruhi actually being a girl, or the fact I'm lesbian. I'm pretty sure that the club was trying to keep that secret. "What about you?"

"Personally, I think mori is really cute." I shrugged.

"To each their own." Before we could say another word, the lights went out, and girls started whispering.
