"What the fuck?" I whispered in shock when I saw what he was wearing for the day. It's a pink polo shirt that hugs his body well.

He fetched me at my café in his car. I closed early today since we have to go to dinner with his family.

"You're drooling, love," he teased, smirking in front of me.

"As if." I hissed, rolling my eyes at him. "So, love will be our endearment, huh?" I raised my brows on him. "I don't know that you're into sweet endearment?"

He chuckles. "What do you expect then? Only call your name? No way, love."

I blushed while rolling my eyes at him. "If that's what you want then," I gave up on him, raising my hands in defeat. "Love," I added which made him blush.

"Are you ready?" he suddenly asked, looking at me intently.

"Ready for? Pretending?" I asked him back. "Well, yeah?"

"You sound unsure, love," he chuckles.

"Can you blame me, though? I am new to this, Landon!" I said panicking.

"Love." He corrected.

"Huh?" I asked confused.

"Call me love, not Landon." He said, pouting his lips, getting sulkier.

I shook my head at what he said. "You are so adorable, love," I commented and jokingly tapped his shoulder. "Pink looks good on you," I complimented.

"Yeah?" he asked and looked at his polo shirt to confirm what I said. "Thanks. Also, the pink dress looks good on you too." He said, looking at my dress and smiling sweetly.

I smiled at him at what he said. It makes my heart flatter. A man saying nice things and complimenting you was something else, huh?

"Hey, tell me honestly," I said, looking at him straight into his eyes. "Did you wear pink today because I wear pink too?"

He laughs. "Are you seriously accusing me of things?" he asked while laughing his ass off. "Too much air in here, huh?" he teased looking amused.

"Air my ass," I whispered and pouted.

How did I become so sulky? Am I getting it from him? He is influencing me!

"Are you okay?" asked Landon who looked at me for a second and looked back at the road. He's busy driving while I am anxious in the passenger seat.

"Do I look like I'm okay?" I responded. Then, I stopped when I sounded so rude. "Am I too rude? Sorry, I'm just anxious about their reaction to me. This pretend thingy is more thrilling," I say and look out the window.

He can't stop himself but laughing at me. "My family won't kill you, love."

"But I will kill you if you'll not stop laughing!" I say pissed.

"You're cute when you're anxious," he commented.

"Are you pleased to see me struggling?" I asked in disbelief. "I am disappointed, love."

He didn't talk anymore and just laughed in his seat. I didn't pay attention to him and looked outside the window.

It was quiet for minutes then suddenly he spoke. "You forgot to tell me about yourself," he sounded so pouting and when I looked at him, he was.

"And why are you getting sad?" I teased.

"It's because maybe I'll say something to them that doesn't right to you." He explained and sighed while looking at the road.
