My week was bland. I wake up, get ready to work, and spend my whole day at the cafe. It's always repeating for the whole week.
"Aster?" called Loly from the counter. She came back the day after Landon went on vacation.
"Hmm? What is it?" I asked while glancing at her. I'm busy making orders.
"Someone's looking for you."
"Who?"
"I have no idea." She shook her head.
I creased my forehead in confusion. "I'll be there for a minute, Loly. I'll finish this one first." I smiled at her.
"Sure. I'll let him know." She says before leaving the kitchen.
I fixed myself for a minute before I went outside to see who was looking for me. "Where is him?" I asked Loly, turning my head to glance around.
Loly pointed to the man who was sitting in the corner and facing the window. Landon. He is wearing a black polo shirt paired with shorts.
"You're back, I see," I say and chuckle. "How's your vacation with your family, love?" I tapped his back before I sat on the opposite side.
He smiles and says, "Missed me?" raising his eyebrows. "I enjoyed, of course. Thank you for suggesting it, love."
"See? I told you that you need it. Anyway, what's with these flowers? And you talked to Loly not to say you're the one who's looking for me?" I scoffed.
He chuckles, "What's the point of surprise, then?"
"Yeah, yeah, whatever," I said sarcastically.
"I'm just worried that you'll run to me because you missed me so much. You might trip over, you know," he says boastfully.
I can't help but roll my eyes. "Vacation tires you out, huh? Go get some rest."
"What? I have a point though," he whistled while smirking.
"Pointless," I say and nodded.
He pouts and glares at me. "Love," he called like a kid.
I laughed. "Thank you for the flowers," I say and glance at the pink roses on the table.
"Why are you thanking me? It's not for you, though."
I'm shocked. "Oh," and composed myself.
He shrieked laughs. "It's for you, of course, love." He winked at me.
I can't help but blush. "You kept on making fun of me," I pout.
He smiled. "Your reaction was fun." He explained.
I scoff in disbelief. "You're enjoying it, don't you?" I mocked and rolled my eyes.
"My girlfriend's cute," he teased.
"I'm not a dog," I said.
"Cute is not only applicable to dogs, love. You are the perfect definition of cute." He winked at gazed at me intently.
"Whatever," I hid my smile from biting my cheeks from the inside. "And what's these?" I asked when I saw something at the table other than the flowers.
"Souvenir. It reminded me of you." He says and smiles.
It's a pink hat together with a magnet keychain. A pink keychain.
"Thanks?" I utter. "Landon, you don't need to buy everything pink."
He suddenly laughs. "I bought it because I have nothing to give you when I come back. I don't want to give you nothing."
