"Aster... my beautiful Aster," a sweet voice woke me from my sleep. He's tugging my hair slowly and gently.

I smiled as I knew who it was. "Thomas," I mumbled as I slowly opened my eyes.

He's smiling widely as he said, "Good morning, my beautiful Aster."

"You're up early," I commented.

"Work." He replied, smiling. "I cooked breakfast. Eat it, okay?"

I pouted. "I told you that there's no need, right? Come on, I can cook my breakfast."

He just smiled. "I am fully aware of that, my Aster. Just let me cook breakfast for you, okay? You know how much I love feeding you."

I pouted more. "Spoiling me too much."

"Just what you deserve. Let me spoil you all my life." He kissed my forehead. "Got to go now. I'll be back later."

I just smiled at him and saw him exit our bedroom. I shook my head when I saw the breakfast he made earlier. I am so damn lucky to have my husband, huh?

We have been married for a year now. In total, we have been together for three years now. We spent our two-year relationship having fun and getting to know each other. I understand that some people find it a ridiculous decision to marry at such a young age given the fact that we have just been two years old. I was twenty-four when we got married. We are both stable and ready to be a family and that's when we decided to marry. I know I made the right decision.

"Aster? How are you?" asked Ravi from the phone.

"Nothing much important happening now. It's the same as before, as usual. How about you?"

He chuckles. "Don't worry about me, sister. However, if you ask about our parents, they still cannot get over what you did. I'm telling you, you are the spoiled brat who still surprises me. Seriously, getting married without our parents knowing? Then you bring him one day to say he is your husband? What the actual fuck?"

"I think it's not just our parents who can't get over it." I teased. "Are you disappointed that I got married? Or are you disappointed that I married your best friend?"

"Both?" he replied.

"Stop fooling me. Thomas and I have been married for about a year now. Can you just forget about it?

"Well..."

"Hey, to tell you, you're just a year ahead of me. Don't ever act as if we are five years apart." I said.

"I didn't act like that." He reasoned out.

"Yeah? Then how can you explain your face the night you found out he is my husband?" I hissed at him.

"Can you blame me? You two got close behind my back and even married each other without me knowing. What do you expect me to react? You are unbelievable. Truly unbelievable."

"Whatever, Ravi. Find yourself a wife if you want."

"No, thanks. I can handle being alone." He rejected it without any thought. "I have a business to handle."

"They still pressure you with that? They built that business so why are they passing all the work to you?"

"To me?" he asked confusedly.

"Yeah? Who else?"

"You don't know? Don't joke around like that, Aster." He seriously said. "Your husband is the one who's been handling our business, Aster. For a year now."
