Sunoo |The next day at school, I couldn't help but feel a newfound sense of happiness as I walked through the familiar hallways.
The weight that had been hanging over me for so long had lifted, and with a smile tugging at the corners of my lips, I decided it was time to share the news with our friends.
As I approached our usual meeting spot, where Jungwon, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, and Heeseung usually gathered, I couldn't help but feel a bit nervous. I took a deep breath, trying to steady my racing heart, and then greeted them with a cheerful wave.
"Hey, guys!" I called out, my excitement barely contained. Their heads turned in my direction, and I could tell they were curious about what I had to say.
Heeseung, ever observant, raised an eyebrow. "You seem unusually happy today, Sunoo. What's going on?"
I couldn't help but chuckle at his perceptiveness. "Well, you won't believe what happened. Ni-ki and I, we're together now!"
Jay's eyes widened, and he let out a whistle. "Whoa, Sunoo, you didn't waste any time, did you?"
Jake grinned and playfully nudged my shoulder. "That's amazing! Congrats to you both!"
Sunghoon's smile was warm and genuine. "I'm really happy for you, Sunoo. I'm glad things worked out."
Telling them felt like taking another step in solidifying the reality of my new relationship. We chatted excitedly for a while, and I couldn't help but gush about how happy I was. They listened intently and shared in my joy, making me feel even more supported and understood.
As our conversation continued, I couldn't contain my excitement and felt an overwhelming urge to share the news with my parents. After all, they had been my rock throughout all the ups and downs, and I knew they would be thrilled to hear about Ni-ki and me.

Later that evening, I found myself sitting with my parents in the cozy living room. My heart raced as I took a deep breath and mustered the courage to share my newfound happiness.
"Mom, Dad," I began, my voice tinged with both excitement and a hint of nervousness, "I have something important to tell you."
My mom looked at me with a warm smile. "Of course, Sunoo. You know you can talk to us about anything."
I nodded, taking another deep breath. "Well, you remember Ni-ki, right? The friend I used to spend a lot of time with?"
My dad's eyes lit up with recognition. "Of course, we do. You told us a lot about him. What about him?"
I couldn't help but grin as I delivered the news. "Ni-ki and I are together now. We're in a relationship."
My mom's eyes widened, and she clasped her hands together. "Oh, Sunoo! That's wonderful news! We're so happy for you!"
My dad's smile matched my mom's, and he gave me a supportive nod. "That's great. As long as you're happy, we are also."
The sense of relief and joy that washed over me was overwhelming. Their unconditional support meant the world to me, and I knew that their acceptance of our relationship was a crucial step in solidifying the bond between Ni-ki and me.
"We're planning to spend more time together, and Ni-ki will be coming over to meet you both soon," I added, my heart racing at the thought of their first meeting.
My mom's eyes sparkled with anticipation. "We'd love to meet him, Sunoo. Just let us know when he'll be coming, and we'll make sure to welcome him with open arms."
