The week goes by quickly. I've talked to Virgil at least once a day, either in person or over text. It's finally Friday.

"Ready to go?" Patton asks.

I grab my phone and stand up.

"Ready," I tell him.

We head out to the parking lot and get into his car. We're headed to the lounge again.

When we reach it, we go inside. It doesn't take long for Logan and Virgil to find us.

"You came," Virgil says with a smile.

"I did. I'm looking forward to hearing you guys play. Are you playing anything new?" I say in response.

"You'll see," he says. "Want a drink?" He asks.

I nod, so he grabs my hand and pulls me to the bar. He lets go when we reach it. He orders me a drink.

"Try this," he says.

I take the drink and take a sip.

"That's good," I say with slight surprise.

"Right? It's my favorite," he says, grinning.

I smile in return.

"Virgil," Logan says, approaching us.

"Are we on?" Virgil asks him.

Logan nods.

"I'll see you in a bit," Virgil says to me while grabbing my hand and squeezing it slightly before walking away.

I look down at my hand when he's gone.

"Damn it," I say, smiling softly.

He's started wiggling his way into my life and my heart slowly. I'm not that dense that I don't see how he feels. I won't lie. It took me a minute, but I did figure it out. I can see it in the way he smiles at me or says my name, or finds an excuse to touch my hand. I like him too.

Once I stopped focusing less on my breakup with Andy and focusing more on my time with Virgil, I noticed it. I'm not quite sure how much I like him yet, but I know I like him.

(So I got my boots on, got the right 'mount of leather

And I'm doing me up with a black color liner

And I'm workin' my strut, but I know it don't matter

All we need in this world is some love

There's a thin line 'tween the dark side

And the light side, baby, tonight

It's a struggle; gotta rumble tryin' to find it

But if I had you

That would be the only thing I'd ever need

Yeah if I had you

Then money, fame and fortune never could compete

If I had you

Life would be a party; it'd be ecstasy

Yeah, if I had you

Y-y-y-y-you, y-y-y-y-y-you

Y-y-y-y-you

If I had you

From New York to LA getting high rock 'n' rollin

Get a room trash it up 'til it's ten in the morning

Girls, in stripper heels, boys, rollin' in Maseratis
