It's been two weeks since Gigi's party and Jake still had Seth's voice playing in his head every night he would lay down to go to sleep. He woke up every morning only after having a four-hour rest. He lay there staring up at his ceiling trying not to think about the party.

"Quite wasting your time with her. You need to be happy," Seth's voice spoke in his head.

Jake groaned, pressing his pillow over his face while he let all his frustration out. His phone buzzed and he threw his pillow before sitting up in his bed. He picked up his phone and saw that Shane was calling him.

"What's going on, Shane," Jake spoke once he answered the phone.

"Hey Jake," Shane spoke. "We're heading down to The Lodge soon."

"Who," Jake asked.

"Me and the group," Shane replied. "And my brother."

"Where are we meeting up?"

"My house," Shane replied.

"Okay. I'll be there soon."

"Okay."

They both hung up and Jake stood up, heading over to his closet. He picked out a white hoodie, and his black skinny jeans with holes then he threw that on. He grabbed his white high-tops and his phone before racing downstairs.

He put on his shoes and then grabbed his car keys which were sitting on the counter before he left the house. He unlocked his car, got in then headed to Shane's house.

When he got there, he pulled his car behind Chase's car and then he got out. He saw Shane standing in the doorway telling his parents they were getting ready to head out. Shane closes the door and his nineteen-year-old brother, Jared was right behind him. Jake followed Chase and Gigi over to Shane and his brother.

"We're waiting for one more person," Shane spoke once they got over to him.

Jake looked around and saw Kylie and Faith walking over to them. He was thinking about who Shane was waiting for. Nikki? But then he saw a white car pull up behind him. The windows were tinted so he couldn't tell who it was. They opened the door and Jake was actually surprised to see who got out of the car.

Seth.

He closed his door and jogged over to the rest of them. "Sorry for holding you guys up," Seth apologized when he got over to them.

"Your good," Shane said, and his brother unlocked the van.

Shane opened the back door and Chase got in first. Gigi after then Kylie. The three of them sat in the back then Faith, Jake, and Seth sat in the middle seats behind Shane-who was in the passenger seat and Jared-who was in the driver's seat.

"Ready," Shane asked looking back at them.

"Yeah," everyone answered.

"Okay," Shane said, turning back around. "Hit it, Jared."

Jared chuckled before pulling out of the driveway. Shane turned on the radio and sat back in his seat. Faith laid her head on Jake's shoulder and Seth glanced over at her then at Jake. They locked eyes for a split second before Seth looked out the window. Jake still had his eyes on Seth then he finally looked away.

The whole ride was quiet but some conversations stirred up a couple of times. Shane and Jake were talking about how fast the season was going by which eventually turned into a new subject. Chase kept bugging Seth, telling him that he should join the football team next year and the girls were agreeing.

"Yeah Seth," Shane spoke, turning around to face him. "How come you don't want to at least try out this year?"

"I don't know," Seth shrugged. "I never really tried playing and I haven't held a football before. But I feel more comfortable sitting in the crowd, cheering you guys on."
