Jake and Seth have been talking all night. They eventually switched over to face time to talk. They were both cracking up when Jake told him about Chase's glow-up.
"He changed for the better," Seth said, still laughing.
"Yeah he did," Jake said and they started laughing once more.
They eventually settled with some chuckles here and there. Jake watched as Seth whipped his cheeks from the tears of laughter.
"We should get some rest," Jake spoke and Seth looked back at his alarm clock.
"Yeah," he nodded.
"Good night," Jake said.
"Night," Seth said and they both hung up.
"Wannabe Elvis," Jake mumbled to himself, snickering. He hopped back in bed and then laid down, slowly drifting off to sleep.
The next morning, Jake woke up to his alarm clock going off and he turned it off. He got out of bed after stretching then grabbed his clothes and threw them on. He picked up his phone on his dresser and put it in his hoodie pocket before leaving his room and heading downstairs. He grabbed his car keys and then left the house saying bye to his dad.
Once he got to school he only saw Shane and Chase. He pulled his car into a parking spot and got out then jogged over to them.
"Where are the girls," Jake asked, throwing his arms up.
The two of them shrugged and Jake looked around the front yard.
"Well Faith told me that she'll be running late because of construction," Shane said.
Jake looked at him before sitting on the bench underneath a big tree.
"There are the twins," Chase pointed out at a black Dodge Challenger that pulled up into a parking spot.
Nikki and Kylie both got out once they were parked then Jake, Shane, and Chase all walked towards them and they met halfway.
"Hey guys," Kylie said once they were all standing with each other.
The boys all said hey and the same question as to where Faith and Gigi were came out of Nikki's mouth. Jake gave her an answer and Nikki nodded. Once the bell rang everyone went inside the building. They went to their lockers and met up at Jake and Kylie's after.
"What time should we head over to your house, Shane," Jake asked, looking at him.
"Around five," Shane said. "That's when my parents are leaving."
"Did you invite Seth yet Jake," Nikki asked.
"Crap," Jake spoke under his breath. "I forgot. I'll let him know as soon as I see him."
Kylie closed her locker and stood up beside Shane.
"Here comes Gigi," Chase said, walking towards her.
The two hugged and then kissed for a second before walking over to the others.
"Hey guys," Gigi spoke out of breath.
"Jeez, did you run to school today," Nikki asked with a chuckle.
"Ha. Ha," Gigi said sarcastically as she opened Kylie's locker. "Very funny, Nick."
Jake chuckled lightly and closed his locker. He looked past Shane and saw Seth walk in.
"I'll catch you guys later," Jake said, jogging away from them.
He heard Chase, Shane, and Nikki all say okay and they carried on with their conversation.
"Hey," Jake said once he got over to Seth.
