"Hike," Jake called out and he caught the ball.

He scanned the field and quickly passed the ball to Shane who ran all the way to the-

"TOUCHDOWN!" the crowd roared.

"That's game!" the guy on the PA announced, sounding as excited as the crowd.

Jake along with the rest of the team all rushed over to the end zone, piling on top of Shane. The final score was 42 to 36. The teams rushed back to the locker rooms after Jake and Kingston's quarterback shook hands.

"That was an amazing game guys," Gigi said, once Jake and Shane came out of the locker room.

"Thanks, Gigi," Shane said, putting his arm around Kylie.

"Of course," Gigi said, linking her hand with Chases.

"So, what's the move," Nikki asked, stepping in front of her friends and began walking backward. "Pizza, hot wings, or ice cream?"

"I'm down for some hot wings," Chase said.

"How 'bout pizza and hot wings," Jake suggested.

"I'm down," Shane said.

"Me too," Chase agreed.

"Me three," the girls said in unison.

Everyone broke out into laughter as they headed to the parking lot. Jake saw Seth standing by the tree with the bench underneath it.

"I'll catch up with you guys later," Jake said, jogging away from them.

"That was a good game," Seth said once Jake got over to him. "Close but still a good game."

"Thanks," Jake said, after a chuckle.

"Anytime," Seth said.

"We're going to get some pizza and wings. Wanna join?"

"No thanks. I'm good."

"So, you're telling me that you went to a football game, rooted for the winning team and you're not going to celebrate."

"Pretty much," Seth chuckled.

"No," Jake said with a crack of laughter. "I'm not taking any more no's for an answer. You're coming with us whether you like it or not."

Jake grabbed Seth's arm and dragged him over to everyone else.

"What'd you think of the game, Seth," Shane asked once they got over to them.

"It was well played," Seth said, looking at Shane.

"Yeah. You think so," Chase spoke.

"Yeah," Seth said.

"Can we go now," Nikki groaned. "I can hear the hot wings screaming my name."

Everyone laughed in agreement and then got in their cars heading to the bar.

Once they got there, Chase ordered the food, and as soon as it got to their tables they started eating. It was very noisy at the bar; everyone was yelling over other people just to have a conversation.

"Seth," Jake called out and he quickly looked at him.

Jake motioned his head to the courtyard and Seth nodded. The two of them stood up, headed out, and left the others to their own entertainment.

"Ahhh," Jake sighed. "Fresh air with some peace and quiet."

Seth chuckled while looking at Jake who eventually laughed along with him. The two walked on the wet, green lawn talking more about the game. Then Jake pulled Seth to the side to show him a waterfall. The two looked at it for a while before Jake pulled him along again.

"Where are you taking me," Seth asked, trailing behind Jake.

"Somewhere," Jake answered, still holding Seth's wrist.

"You said that the past six times I asked you, Jake."

"Okay. We're here," Jake asked, turning to face him. "Close your eyes."

"Jake," Seth spoke, sounding scared.

"Just close your eyes. Trust me."

Seth chuckled, closing his eyes, and linked his hand with Jake's. Jake carefully helped Seth up the stone stairway and the two of them walked on another patch of grass. The two were both chuckling lightly still, and they suddenly stopped walking.

"Okay," Jake whispered in Seth's ear. "Open your eyes."

Seth slowly opened his eyes and was in complete shock. He took small steps forward, looking around at the beautiful scenery.

There were vines with many types of flowers blooming out from the vines. The grass was very green and still a little damp. So many butterflies flew around in the area. He saw a medium size water fountain in the corner with a small white bench beside it. And a medium pond was in the center of it all.

"It's beautiful isn't it," Jake spoke lightly, walking up behind Seth.

"I've never seen such a beautiful sight," Seth said, still in shock.

The two both looked at each other and Jake looked away and sat down on the lawn. Seth sat next to Jake, still having his eyes locked on him.

"It's one of the best things to see in this part of California," Jake went on. "Aside from the beach."

"I bet it is," Seth spoke.

The two locked eyes then Jake looked away once again.

"I come here every Friday after the celebration meal."

Seth looked around once again. "How did you find this place," he asked, looking at Jake.

"I didn't," Jake answered. "Gigi did. Me, her, and Chase were walking around, and she called out to us and showed us this place."

Jake looked at Seth again and spoke in a lower tone. "Rumor has it that this place makes people fall in love," Jake stated.

"Do you believe in that rumor," Seth asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Hell yeah I believe in it," Jake spoke, speaking louder now. "Chase and Gigi fell in love here after their seventh visit."

"How long have they been together," Seth asked.

"Eight months."

Seth did a whistle of surprise which made Jake laugh. Seth cracked a light chuckle, looking at Jake. The two now had their eyes locked on each other and all they could hear was the waterfall.

During this silence, there was still something spinning around in Jake's head. And that was what Tanner told him. Jake didn't want to believe him because he really didn't see that evil side in Seth. But still, he wanted to know. Just, not right now. The moment wasn't right.

"We should get going," Jake spoke, breaking the silence.

He stood up and then held out his hand, helping Seth to his feet. The two walked back to the bar to meet up with the rest of their friends.

Once Jake got home, he took off his shirt and then jumped in his bed, staring at the blank ceiling. Jake still had mixed emotions about Seth, and he just wanted answers. He covered his eyes with his arm and tried to let it all go.
