Chapter 27

Legend's POV -

I opened my eyes and shot up, gasping for air. I start looking around choking on a tube that was going down my throat.

"Aye somebody help. Hey, Hey chill bro. You're okay." I heard Cartier's voice making me relax as nurses walked in. They took the tube out of my mouth and I sighed laying down looking at the ceiling

"Welcome back to the land of the living lil nigga." Cartier said patting my leg I chuckled

"I'm three weeks older than you bitch." I rasped out coughing right after. He laughed handing me water I downed the whole cup sighing. After a while I thought about my dream and I shot up in the bed before laying back down as I grunted in pain.

"Take it easy bro." I shook my head looking at him

"She went to go get food with the girls. Dante ran to tell her you're awake so relax until she gets back." I nodded laying down closing my eyes

Vaiyah's POV -

I'm sitting at the hospital cafeteria with Yasmin, Megan, and Emani.

"I just miss him so much yall." I said resting my hand on my baby bump. They nodded

"Yea it ain't the same. I miss being grossed out by how cute yall is. And hearing him being a dumb crackhead." Meg said

I smiled but it faded seeing Dante running over to us. Please God don't tell me he's gone..

"What's wrong? Is he okay?" I said already standing up

"He's-" He stopped trying to catch his breathe taking a deep breath smiling

"He's awake." After the words left his mouth I took off running as fast as I could for a 5 month pregnant lady

We all got to the elevators impatiently waiting for it to get to the right floor as soon as the doors open we ran out pushing people out the way. We got to his room and I stopped.

"I'm scared. The doctors said he might not remember anything." I said

"If he doesn't then we'll all help bring his memory back." I nodded slowly opening the door seeing him standing up as Cartier helped him. My eyes watered

His looked away from Cartier at us then at me. I slowly walked over "Baby.."

"I missed you shorty." He said smiling, I smiled practically tackling him in a hug he let out a low laugh while I cried in his arms

"I missed you so much." He kissed the top of my head tightening his grip around me

He pulled back kissing me, I held his face in my hands kissing him back. When we finally pulled away he rested his forehead against mine

"I love you." I pulled back smiling "what?"

"I love you. And life's to short fa me to keep waiting to say it. I almost died and Ian get to say it. Ion wanna go another day wit out telling you. I love you. I been in love with you from day one." He said looking at me as more tears fell out of my eyes and he wiped them away.

"I love you. I always have. I was just to afraid to say it cause I thought it would scare you away." He shook his head smiling

"You could never scare me away mama." At this moment nothing and no one could take the smile off my face

"I love you." I said kissing him again, his smile just grew brighter.

"I love you more."

2 Days Later

Legend's POV -

I was laying in my hospital bed waiting for Vaiyah to come back from the cafeteria getting us food. Everyone stayed all day yesterday and today they giving me and Vaiyah some space. She caught me up with everything going on in everyone's lives.
