"Will you marry me?" I asked she stared at me in shock
"GIRL YOU BETTA SAY YES BEFORE I DO!" I heard one of her cousins yell everybody laughed she snapped out of it smiling and nodding
"yes. of course I'll marry you baby." She said smiling through her tears making me smile sliding the ring on her finger before standing up
"i love you shorty." I mumbled kissing her, she wrapped her arms around my neck kissing back
"I love you." She smiled kissing me again I pulled her closer makin her smile pulling away and hugging me
I helped her down the stairs of the stage everybody crowdin us saying congrats. Our parents walked over looking happy.. except her dad of course hatin ass nigga
"did yall know about this?" she asked laughing as I hugged my mom and dad
"hell yea we did daughter in law. Who you think got Elliot to sing." my dad said making her smile
"congratulations baby . Welcome to the family." My mom said smiling at her and then at her parents
"my nigga really trapped her." Carti said making me suck my teeth
"shut up boy." My mom said hitting him in the stomach wit her purse
"congrats you bums." Her little brother Ash said hugging us
"thanks bisc." "Thank you bisc." We smiled
"I'm so happy for yall baby." her mom said hugging her then me
"Thank you mom." "Preciate it moms." We said to her
"first you get pregnant. now this. Mulan don't you think you rushin. I just want what's best for you. Are you sure about this." her dad said looking at me then her
"dad- aye man what's yo problem wit my son." my dad said steppin up to him
"I'll tell you wha- Dwight calm down." "Michael stop." Our moms said pulling our dads apart
"naw baby I want this nig- ight Pop stop." I said stepping up to her dad
"listen Mr. H I love yo daughter. I know weon see eye to eye. I also understand you might think we movin fast as hell, and youn think I'm good enough for yo daughter. shii ian gone lie you just might be right. But it's one thing you wrong about. And it's me. You think me and my siblings some spoiled hood kids wit no home training. You think my parents are King Pins and Drug Lords they not. They worked hard for what we got here. And if you think yo daughter would be happy and safe with somebody else then yo wrong about that shit too. Cause I can promise you there ain't another nigga out there that's gone love and protect her and yo grand kid the way I will." I said looking at him dad he was silent
"Dad. Please. I love you. But I also love Legend. And wether you like or not he's going to be in my life. Yall are those two most important men in my life. Please don't make me choose between yall. Because I will choose him." She said her eyes watering
"I can't except this Mulan. Ion trust him or his family." He said I looked at Vaiyah seeing few tears fall
"Dad, really? i get you don't like him. But I'm happy, that's what should matter. I thought you of all people would understand.." She said softly about to walk away I grabbed her hand tryna stop her
"baby.." she shook head
"i'm okay. I- I just need a minute." She said walking away my mom shook her head grabbing my dad and walking away.
"Michael.." her mom said shaking her head going after Vaiyah leaving the two of us I sighed
"Look Youn gotta love me. Hell ion give a fuck if youn like me and hate me even breathing in the same room as you. But at least put yo pride to the side and support us. Support her man. Real shit if you love yo daughter the way you say you do. Then be a man and accept it. Cause it's gone happen wit or wit out cho ass there." I said walking away to find my fiancé
