Sofia's POV
I felt my eyes open and as they did my body ached with pain I had never experienced. The pain didn't allow me to lay still despite the welcoming warmth of soft bed.
Wait... I don't exactly have this type of bed? Where am I?
Looking at my surroundings, my mind was blown away. I was currently on a royal gigantic bed with velvet and silk covers. The room screamed royalty and technology I have never seen in my life. As I took in every detail, my throat became dry so I tried to search for water here and there. Luckily a glass and jug like thing was placed at the side table, a size of dressing table. I drank from it. Grimacing at the sweet sour taste that resembled.. apple juice with a tinge of strawberries.
"Where am I.." I whispered to myself, trying to remember what happened.
My head hurt and eyes burnt like hell from all the stress at once,and a chill ran up from my legs to hands.
"That's weird.. I certainly remember wearing an under shirt and a sweater before leaving home." I thought again.
Thinking this I looked down at myself, still seated in the bed.
"Oh my..Where are my clothes!!!" I screamed and it was valid.
What I wore was nothing from before, no sweater no shirt just a long silk gown which was so see through you could even get a peek if you wanted.
"God I am practically naked in someone's bed room with no memories after leaving my house..mum must be so worried..Mum? Oh my god she is gonna kill me, I promised to be there with them for dinner..." My eyes filled with tears. I was an expert in disappointing my parents and siblings. They were so excited.
"You are not naked, My lady .. it's a robe, the finest we can offer to our guests.." a women as pale and ice entered. Her body on full display except the lala parts. And a shawl like robe that was more of a net.
"Woahhh!!! Stay away ma'am!!" I stood up from the enormous bed and backed away. Knocking the glass like thing in process.
"Halt.. You will hurt yourself my lady ." She spoke again, and looked at me with care. Her voice shrill and almost husky but in a feminine way. She wasn't human.. Human.
I think I remember meeting someone in human before.
Aha right!!! I met a man who claimed he was not human.. no i..I..I SAVED a man who claimed to be that.
And then everything came back rushing in to my mind. Me driving to the diner and then following that damn truck and saving that man. Getting shot..
Oh I was shot!
Remembering this, I raised my robe to the side and looked for the wound but it was cleaned and bandaged.
Seeing this a smile came on that lady's face as well.
"It got treated the moment you were brought here by the emperor.. it's nothing that should worry you .."the woman said smiling assuringly at me and came forward.
I took reciprocate her smile.
"But .. I must say You humans take alot to heal.. we almost lost you but Thank KHALIQ Emperor knew your race's anatomy." She said with an expression full of pity.
Humans.. humans..?!! she was not humans! She was.. I don't know what she is..
As I stared at her with horror, shaking with fear, she came more close.
"N-n-NO!! Stay there please!! I ii..I..plz don't hurt me .. I swear... I didn't hurt your..your..king..plz!!!!" I pleaded and tears ran down my cheeks.
She looked at me confusingly, possibly thinking what an easy prey she landed herself with..
"I don't plan on killing you ... I will just run some tests-" she finally said.
"Tests!?? Tests!!??? You. You... aliens!!! I swear I will kill myself but won't be a lab rat!" I looked at her up and down angrily, my tears hot on my and braced myself to make a run.
"Rat .. lab rat?- wh- What are you saying?" She tried to play innocent but I won't fall for this.
And without wasting a time, ran from the room.
"Wait! It's not safe! Plz!! The emperor..." Her voice died down as the distance increased .
I ran and ran through enormous halls, passing big windows that somehow was tempered such that the sky looked pink or was it all in my mind.
Even the trees u saw on my way we're funny looking.
"What's going on!!!!..ughhh!!!" I yelled frustratingly while running.
After a while my speed hot slow and breathing difficult. So I stopped to rest a bit, seeing no sign of aliens.
"What's have I gotten my self into this time! First HIM and then this weird place!?" I Pulled my hairs and wiped my tears harshly.
"There she is!" the woman from the room shouted and ran towards me from behind.
I turned around and saw her rushing so fast, I didn't get a chance to escape and in a moment she knocked my down on the floor with her body.
"AHHHHHH!!! Leave me you planet thieves!!!! LEAVE ME AT ONCE!!!! I WILL NOT BE YOUR LAB SUBJECT! I SWEAR!!! PLZ ...." I begged, screamed but she didn't listen and picked me up from my hand and started dragging me somewhere.
"What on Sky are you up to huh!??"she all but yelled in my face. Her dislike evident from the way her eyes twitch. We were in a white wall room with a bed and a table.
"And what were you calling us? Thieves? My dear I can assure you even the lowest of our kingdom will be much wealthy than your richest human" she mocked me, her tone daring and taunting me say another and bear the consequences.
"You wanted to run tests on me, it's clear you are a threat to us, to Earth!" I screamed, getting scared of the way she twitched hearing my thoughts.
"Believe me when I say this.. The only threat to mankind and Earth is mankind ITSELF! NOT US" and that shut me up. I know it was the truth. We as humans hated each other more than these creatures. And the weapons we had were enough to erase ourselves without them lifting a finger. What an irony!
"Now .. that was easy. If you are finished creating drama out of this, do I make things clear?" She lifted her big spiny brows at me, her golden eyes staring into my soul.
Her eyes reminded my of Him, the man who was responsible for all this mess. The man I saved. May be they both were related may be not.
For once I felt calm and decided to listen. It's not like I would be able to escape if I wanted to.
So I nodded my head, telling her to continue.

Hey Super novas!!!! ... After a long time I know but you know there's a valid reason behind it. I lost my motivation to write but it's back now. There will be more updates to this story but my memory is of a fish so plzzzz like it upvote ! So I get reminded that I have pretty readers to write my story for.
