When Friday rolled around that week, Stevie was just a little nervous about meeting up with her band.

Up until that moment, she had been feeling really good about everything but then she realized it was her normal nerves and although she hadn't seen them since the year before, prior to that it had been since 1987 that she really saw anybody but Christine, even then, it had been a more long distance relationship than seeing each other every day since the older blonde was residing in England.

The type of person she was; very confident, but when it had been enough time, she would get nervous to get on stage anyway, meet new people anyway and or see old friends. She was simply anticipating the vibe like any other time and she had to separate the feelings from having been living a different life from the one she knew---it was all different.

"Hey, Lindsey?"

"Yeah?" he replied, buckling his jeans in place.

"Did you tell the band what was going on at all?" she wondered, clasping her bra behind herself. She then adjusted her breasts in the cups and walked over to the closet, pulling a long black maxi skirt and top out.

"Well, not a lot of people know, but one of the kids reported you missing... I wasn't really in my right mind," he sighed, shaking his head.

She sympathized.

"It's nothing to feel bad for..."

"It's everything to feel bad for, Lindsey. You almost died because of me..." she walked over in the midst of getting ready, just her bra and skirt on so far.

She didn't even care that she wasn't fully dressed, she just felt the need to console him instantly.

"I didn't almost die because of you, I almost died because I was drinking far too much..." he circled her waist, patting her hip. "I thought you were dead so I stopped taking care of myself. It wasn't intentional."

She leered.

"Nor was it your fault..." he said softly. "I thought those therapy sessions were supposed to make you realize that."

"I just can't stand the thought of losing you..." she shook her head, pulling away in order to put her top on.

"Well, it's been established we don't do well without each other... So, let's make a deal to not leave each other's sides..."

"As if that would really do it," she sighed. "When you first brought me home, Karen told me about how everything changed when everybody thought I was dead. How you changed when you started to believe I was dead... She said it would have been the ultimate tragedy if you would have ended up dead, thinking I was dead and then I came home to that..."

"Yeah, she was right..." he couldn't help but agree.

"She called us Romeo and Juliet..."

"Well, angel, neither of us are dead. We're here and we're together," he wrapped his arms around her; one around her neck and the other around her waist.

"I just think about a lot of things every so often and sometimes it bothers me... I didn't mean to bring it up... I actually really did wanna know if I was reported missing or what and it got me thinking deeper than it should have..." she patted his chest.

"It's okay," he pressed a kiss to her head. Loosening his grip on her, he backed up just so that they could finish getting ready. "Anyway, the kids were really mad that we hadn't reported you missing here and I told them about the fact that we were trying to keep Stevie Nicks under the radar. We didn't want your parents to know and we didn't want the rest of the world to know."
