{it is almost 2 in the morning. I finished good omens season 1 after months and months of procrastinating. Now here I am. Trying to cope with the emotions of it all. And the anger of having been spoiled several times about things in season 2.
So. Here's this. Here's how I have chosen to cope. Please enjoy.)

It was an average day in London. Busy streets, Busy people, And inside a quaint little book shop two friends were busy. Well more accurately, one demon was busy complaining whilst an angel was busy with a book whilst listening to his companions ramblings.

"The noise is infuriating. Day an night the constant beeping and the moron does nothing!" Crowley paced back and forth his irritation leaving him incapable to sit still.

"Well, I'm sure you're aware, you did curse him to have several minor inconveniences for the next few years." Aziraphale said simply as he turned the page of his book.

"I know I know." Crowley said picking up a book before putting it back, uninterested with its contents. "I just didn't think it would inconvenience me so much. At this point I might as well just get away." He says peering out the window, ever paranoid about his surroundings. "Only question is where too.."

"Well why not here?" Aziraphale said without giving it much thought.

"What?" Crowley says turning around. "Really?" If it weren't for the shades, one wound be able too see some what of a shimmer of hope in Crowley's eyes.
However, having known each other for over 6000 years, Azirafel knew a happy Crowley when he saw one.

"Of course." Aziraphale says setting down his book. "I mean, the only thing that ever stopped me from asking before was the whole.. well. You know." The angel gestures to both the sky and the earth.

Crowley went to say something but hesitated.

"It's only if you want to Crowley. I understand if you'd prefer your own space."

"Do you have any space for plants?" Crowley asks looking away again the smallest of smirks spearing on his face.
Aziraphale lit up instantly. He smiled to himself picking up his book once more. "I'm sure we could work something out."

The next few days the angel and Demon worked together moving the demons possessions into the book shop. Originally Crowley beloved it could just be done with a miracle, But Aziraphale enjoyed the busy work and if it made him happy then Crowley would endure every moment with out complaint. Well maybe a one or two, but he'd manage.

"Well that's the last one." Aziraphale says placing a plant into its decorative holder in Crowley's new office. "What do you think?"

Crowley was standing near his desk staring but not really looking at anything.

"Crowley? Is everything alright."

"Hmm? Oh yes yes everything's fine." Crowley says coming back to his senses, mostly. "It uh. Looks great."

"Are you sure? I could redo it if you don't like it.." Aziraphale says worried he'd messed something up.

"No no it's fine angel. It's just.." Crowley looks to him but finds himself unable to make eye contact and quickly looked away.

"It's just what Crowley?" Aziraphale says stepping closer.

"Did you mean it when you said that you only never asked me to stay because of.. you know." Crowley asks. Since the words had left Aziraphale mouth that day, they had consumed the demons every waking thought.

"Well." Aziraphale adjusted his coat. "Of course of meant it."

"All that time and you wanted me around?" Crowley says still unable to look at Aziraphale. Which drove both the angel and the demon nuts.

"Of course I did. But there was quite literally heaven and hell between us. Now is.. now is different." Aziraphale explains.

"I can't argue with that." Crowley said fiddling with things on his desk trying to calm his nerves.

"There are, Things that weren't possible then. But given the current stage of things. I'd say they're possible now."

"Things?" Crowley says finally looking Aziraphale.

"Things like an angel and a demon living together." He clarifies.

Crowley took off his glasses now looking at the very very pink face of Aziraphale. "There are... more things that are possible now angel."

Aziraphale subtly licked his lips. A nervous habit he's had for decades. "That is true yes. Many things."

"Heaven and hell are no longer between us. For now anyways" Crowley goes too say. "So.."

"So..?"Aziraphale urged Crowley to continue.

"So theres nothing left stoping me from doing this." He says before grabbing him by the jacket and pulling him into a kiss. Heaven nor hell couldn't pull them apart if they tried.
In fact they only pulled apart when they felt it was right.

Aziraphale grinned. "I've wanted to do that for a very long time."

Crowley could only smile tears welling up in his eyes. With nothing to stop him he let his heart decide. So he wrapped his arms around his angel, hugging him tightly. Of course Aziraphale returned the gesture as soon as what was happening processed in his head.

"It was all for you angel." Crowley spoke softly, his words for Aziraphale and Aziraphale alone. "It was always you."
