{Welp. I've been spoiled again. I'm starting too loose my mind over here just saying. Why can't people have more common sense?? Label your stuff as spoilers people!!! Anyways- it's late and it's raining so I was inspired to make this. I might make a part 2 but idk. I hope you enjoy it and let me know if you would like a part 2)
Dreary. That's how most would suscribe London today. Grey, constantly pouring rain and very cold.
It's the sort of weather the typical person would be grumpy about.
But not Azirafel. No not him. The angel absolutely adored days such as these. He'd start up a fire, put on some tea sit down near the window with a good book, or five, and spend hours enraptured in his own little world.Today was a little bit different. Of course the angel did everything he'd usually do on a rainy day. But today he wasn't alone. Crowley was only a few feet way strewn across the couch staring at the ceiling. While yes the demon was often around, he rarely stayed when storms were coming. Usually heading home before the weather got to bad.
Not today.Azirafel had just finished a book setting it too the side and taking a sip of his tea as he choose his next book to read.
"What are you reading now Azirafel?" Crowley asks. Speaking for the first time in what felt like hours.
"Oh! Crowley I thought you'd fallen asleep" Azirafel says. "I was thinking about reading a Sherlock Holmes book. Maybe two I do love mysteries."
"You've read those so many times you could read them aloud with your eyes closed." Crowley says an amused smile on his face.
"Is that your was of asking me to read them too you?" Azirafel joked picking one up an adjusting his spectacles.
"What? No." Crowley says instantly going red.
"Are you sure?" Azirafel questioned a soft smile on his face. "It's not a trouble really"
Crowley was quiet for a moment. Wether it was simply embarrassment or deep thought it was hard to tell."I'm listening." He eventually said.
Azirafel simply smiles and began to read.
Crowley listened intently. Not because he of the story; the angel could be reading the label on the back of a cereal box and he'd be enchanted all the same. Azirafel's voice just simply had that effect on him.
As Azirafel was finishing the book he began to hear soft snoring. He turned realizing his dear friend had fallen asleep. He smiles softly quietly leaving the room to refill his tea and grab a blanket for the sleeping demon.
Laying the blanket over him gently Azirafel carefully took Crowley's glasses and placed them on the coffee table.
"May you have sweet dreams." He whispers before sitting down by the window and picking up another book.
