Azirafel had been pouting. Days now he'd been pouting. He'd never say it out loud if asked. But too Crowley it was obvious. The zoning out, the sighing, the silence. It was obvious. And it had been driving Crowley absolutely nuts!

"Alright that's it!" He says standing up.

Azirfael turns around in his desk chair, having reorganized for the seventh time in the last few days. "What's what??"

"Cmon were going for a drive."

"Why?"

"Because I said so, and we're not doing anything else. And you need it."

Azirfel opened his mouth too respond, but he didn't get a chance for Crowley was already out the door.
"Crowley wait up!"

"Get in." Crowley says getting into the Bentley.

Azirfel sighed exasperated as he got in. "Fine then, where are we going?"

"Don't know yet." Crowley says as he started driving.

"What do you mean you don't know yet?" Azirfel says.

"I mean I don't know. But I'll know when I get there." Crowley said as he turned in the music.

"Well then." Azirfel shifted in his seat unable to hold back a smile. "This will be fun."

"That's the point angel" Crowley says glancing at him with a smile.

They drove for hours. Through the city, past farm land and country side. Soon they were in the mountains. The closer they got to nature the happier Azirfel seemed to be.
Crowley let down the windows, something he rarely did not being fond of things getting in his car, but for the sake of his Angel getting some fresh air he'd manage.
They reached a particularly high spot in the mountains. Where there was a little spot to park and just enjoy the view. So that's what they did.

Azirfel was quiet, but it wasn't the same kind of quiet as he'd been the lady few days. He was calm, and that made it so much easier for the demon to be calm.
The two of them sat in the car, together, in silence, just watching the sun set and the stars come out.

"Are you going to tell me why you brought me here Crowley?" Azirafel asked after awhile.

"Because I didn't want to watch you sulk around the bookshop." Crowley says simply. Azirafel huffed. He knew he couldn't argue with that. It got quite after that. Azirfel found himself glancing at his hands, then at Crowley before distracting himself with the sky once again.
"Are you going to tell me what was bothering you?" Crowley asks, breaking the silence.

"I.." Azirafel could feel Crowley's eyes staring at him from behind his shades. "I'm not sure if I could tell you."

"Why not?" Crowley asks.

"Because." Azirafel shifted in his seat.

"Because why?"

"Because it's not right!" Azirafel says. "It's.. I've been feeling things I shouldn't. And I don't know what to do about it.."

Crowly cleared his throat and looked back at the sky before them. "Mm. Well that's quite the problem."

"It is. It is a problem Crowley because.. because you being so nice to me only makes it worse."

"What? So this is my fault?"

"No.. no it's not your fault. It's.. it's mine." Azirafel says.

"I'm not sure I'm understanding you Azirfel.."

"Oh for heavens sake! I'm in love with you Crowley. I have been for centuries now it feels like." Azirafel says.

Crowley stiffened. Did he really just hear that right?

"And all this time.. I've just been wondering if you could ever feel that way about me.. and I know that's impossible. How could a demon ever love an Angel?" Azirfel rambled.

"Azirafel.."

"I shouldn't have said anything. Im so sorry Crowley."

"Azirafel"

"I do hope we Can still be friends, though I do understand if you never want to see me again."

"AZIRAFEL"

"Hmm?"

"Fucks sake your a moron!!" Crowley snapped, grabbing Azirfel by the collar of his shirt and kissing him passionately.

The few seconds it took too process were some of the most confusing seconds of Azirafel's life, Ever. But the moments after.. the moments after were priceless. He absolutely melted.

Crowley slowly pulled away, but he didn't let go of Azirfel's shirt.
"Angel.. I've been in love with you for 6000 years."

"Oh Crowley.." Thats all Azirafel could muster. He leaned his forehead against Crowley's as he attempted to comprehend it all. "How are we ever going to make this work..?"

"We'll figure it out." Crowley says. "We always figure it out."

Azirfel let out a breathy laugh, too overwhelmed with emotion. "You're right."

Crowley smiles, taking off his shades. "Y'know.. I've waited a long time for this.."

"Well, now I will make sure too give your everything you've been waiting for." Azirfel says wiping away tears that were threatening to fall.

"Is that so?" Crowly raises an eyebrow. He couldn't stop smiling if he tried.

"Yes, yes it is." Azirfel says before pulling Crowley into a tender kiss.
