Chapter 2-Yuya and Zuzu

-18th October- 1pm-

You are woken up by Jay yelling through to your room that he was going out with his friend, Danny. Great. He was leaving you on your own for your second day in Heartland. After a little while of sitting around, you decide to text your friend, Sora, who you had been friends with for about 3 years. He had started streaming while you were friends with him and he was doing surprisingly well. You would usually speak to him when you were down or bored since he always found a way to make you laugh.

Hey! Can you call rn, or are you duelling?

Sure

Im not streaming till later.

You call him and he picks up pretty quickly. You begin to yap for a while, beginning to talk about all the projects you both want to work on or are working on and just caught up in general.

"Damn, where am I meant to work?" The thought just pops into your mind but its something that you did need to figure out. 

"I dunno, you could always start trying to stream you duels, (Y/N)" he looked back at you sincerely. You could tell that he was being genuine but you thought that it just wouldn't work out for you.

"What, no-way! Do you know how un-entertaining and un-funny I am"

"Well, not really. Your pretty funny to me." he always tried to cheer you up when you seemed down and it usually works, but today you just weren't sure. 

"Yeah, well that's you Sora"

"I bet my friends would find you funny too"

"Yeah right" You and Sora bickered light-heartedly back and forth for a while, until he invited you to play the video game you really enjoyed playing together (Minecraft) with him. You gladly accept and join on the Minecraft world you usually play on. Only this time, you realise that there's another two people on the server. You continue as normal, playing around, not questioning it until you hear two people join the call.

"HELLOW" A loud, eccentric voice rang through the speakers in your headphones. You took your headphones off you head for a second out of shock before putting them back on and laughing gently. Although this person might be eccentric, he could be quite a fun person.

"jeez ok" You try and stay calm and quiet, the chaos from the person who just joined the call was a little overwhelming coming out of no-where.

"Sora?! Who's This?!" The eccentric person shouted through the call again. You were about to speak again to introduce yourself when Sora got to speaking first.

"ok, first of all, Yuya calm down, second of all, this is my friend (Y/N)" 

"Oh, sorry if I scared you (Y/N), I'm Yuya!" his voice became less jarring and the call calmed down after this and you were grateful for it- preferring the calm to the chaos.

"Hey, nice to meet you, and its fine, cool to meet someone with so much energy " You laughed lightly, recognising that this guy was probably from standard since most eccentric duellists came from there. You introduce yourself and find Yuya's character in-game and another one stood next to it.

"Hellow! New friend?" Another voice ran through the call. A calmer one with a sweeter tone.

"Hello?" 

"Oh my gosh, hello, I'm Zuzu!" 

"It's nice to meet you! I'm (Y/N)!"

You play for a few more hours, getting to know Yuya and Zuzu, and both of them seemed to be genuinely nice people. After a while, Sora decided to go and stream and Yuya and Zuzu stayed. For a while, you play on the server with them until Jay shouts you from downstairs. He had obviously gotten back a while ago and you realise how long you had been speaking to them for- 4 hours.
