That evening Lucianna had rushed (after finishing her conversation with Seamus) to Harry. She hadn't seen him all summer and hadn't heard from him.

"HARRY!" She screamed while tackling him. Harry let out a loud chuckle and started hugging her. "Jesus Lucianna! Was there any need." He laughed. The two were good friends and saw eachother more as siblings than anything else. Although Harry couldn't live with her and her dads permanently he spent as much time as possible there , he had his own room and belongings there as well; which was why it was weird she hadn't heard from him.

"I'm sorry luc, this summer hasn't been great. I couldn't get in contract with you or with my uncles ..." Harry's eyes seemed to gloss over with tears. He went on to talk about the events at the Dursley's and Aunt Marge, the knight bus and most concerning of all the rat that tried to bite him before he ventured onto the knight bus.

"A rat?" Lucianna was puzzled "maybe it was just you know a wild rat." She didn't want to dismiss Harry and the obvious concern he had surrounding the rat, but she also didn't want to add to his worry. "I don't know luc, I know it sounds insane but it's eyes were familiar somehow." Harry's eyes were now staring at the floor. Lucianna hugged Harry again and attempted to reassure him.

While the two embraced the storm that Lucianna felt was coming hit the castle of Hogwarts. This year would be different and would forever change the pupils of Hogwarts.

The next morning Lucianna was woken by Ginny begging her to help with her hair. The two girls didn't share a room as Lucianna was housed with other third years but Ginny was like a little sister to her and was constantly in the room. "Luccciannnaaaa," her voice called out "I need help and Ronald- " she spat his name out "keeps making fun of me." Her hair did look a mess, the ginger locks were tangled and messy and the poor girl looked as if she had been dragged through a thorn brush. "Come here Gin I'll help," Lucianna cooed. She felt a strong sisterly bond to Ginny and would help her whenever she could.

After brushing and combing the younger's hair it finally looked presentable. The young Weasley hugged the third year and ran off to show her friends. With that Lucianna went about getting ready herself.

Her hair was still a bright vibrant pink yet something else was different. Her eyes. They had always been a dull ish brown yet today they seem to be lighter and brighter than ever before. So she decided to embark on a bit of teenage rebellion.

Makeup wasn't explicitly prohibited at Hogwarts but it wasn't technically allowed. With each year came more muggle-borns and thus came more muggle items. Makeup in the wizarding was largely charms and spells but with Muggle makeup teenagers could do it themselves without raising suspicion from the trace or more concerning the professors.

So Lucianna put mascara on and a little bit of blush just enough that it made her feel and look nice. And decided to simply leave her straight hair alone after she had brushed it.

Walking down to the great hall alone was strange, usually she'd had Fred and George but she didn't want to wait she was starving and wanted to grab some food.

As she walked she heard the familiar and loathsome voice of Malloy. "Well. If it isn't Lucianna," his voice sounded as if her name was poison in his voice. "What do you want Malfoy?" She did not need Malfoy's annoyance today. "Can't I just say hi, after all us sacred 28 have to stick together." He smirked. Lucianna stood still. Wide eyed and shock written over her face. Was he suggesting that he knew? Did Draco Malfoy know that Lucianna's birth mother was Felina Rosier? She couldn't show shock or fear and quickly turned it to rage. "What on earth are you talking about?" She asked , his smirk growing wider. "I think you know. I always thought how strange it was that Black would take in a baby he knew nothing about." His face was amused and his eyes bright with a mischievous glow. He continued, "I think that your dad , Sirius, is actually your dad." Lucianna couldn't contain it anymore, she bursted out a loud and hearty laugh, Malfoy's face dropped. "Okay okay so if that was the case you'd think I'd keep it a secret," her laugh grew louder, "you're so stupid Malfoy. Sirius is my dad - not by blood but he is. So is Remus." As she continued laughing Malfoy's face grew more displeased. "Oh that's funny? Well, I haven't even said the best part" he paused "I think your mother was Felina Rosier." And with that he wandered off leaving Lucianna confused, scared and concerned.
