FATE

first day

I woke up to my alarm at 7am and immediately got out of my bed because i remembered that today i was going to training with my dad.

I went into the Bathroom, brushed my teeth and took a shower. After that i got dressed. I decided to wear blue jeans shorts and a white top since it's very hot in Barcelona right now.

"Hailey, are you awake?" My dad.

"Si papá. Im coming."

I went downstairs and it smelled very good. I got in the kitchen and walked up to my dad to hug him.

"Buenos días Papá! Are you excited?"

"Buenos días mi amor. I'm a bit nervous but also very happy. I hope you are going to like it."

We sat down and ate the Pancakes he made. After that i grabbed my phone and my bag in which i put a few things like money, lipstick and my airpods.

I waited in the hall for my dad to come so we can go. It was already 8:30am.
After a few minutes he came and we headed to his car.
Alvaro, our new chauffeur would only drive us to special events so today my dad drove by himself.

We had to drive a little bit because there was much traffic and as i said before we lived a bit outside from Barcelona.

At 9am we finally arrived at the training center. My nervousness got bigger and bigger. My dad immediately noticed that something was wrong.

"Hey mi amor. Que pasa?"

"Nada. I'm just a bit nervous..."

"You don't have to be. Don't be shy just be yourself, okay? I already know that they will like you."

I calmed down a bit and we headed onto the field. My dad still knew the way from the days where he was a barça player himself. Nothing had changed here.

We decided to sit on the bench and wait for the players to come out on the field because the training starts at 10am. Right now it was 9:30am.

"Papá? Before they are coming i just wanted to say to you again that you're going to be great. You were here before and i know how much you love this club."

"Muchas Gracias amor. I appreciate your support so much and i'm very happy to have you with me today. Te amo mucho."

I wanted to answer him but suddenly i heard voices behind me. I turned around and the players were coming out. My father walked over to them and greeted everyone of them.

He held a little speech and then they started to train. He looked so happy.

I watched them the entire time and was fascinated how good they were at playing football. I started to search for Gavi. When i found him i started to smile and watched him a bit. He was really good.

At the end of the training my father called me to come over to him so i got up and walked over.

"Guys please listen for a moment. You did very well today and i'm glad you all welcomed me so well. Before we're coming to the end i wanted you to get to know my daughter Hailey Hernandez."

Everyone started to watch me as i shyly waved at everyone of them. They all smiled at me and seemed very nice.
I searched for Gavi again and i also found him smiling at me. I couldn't believe it.

"The officiall training is now coming to an end for today. This is my first day here so i'm going to spend a little more time here with my daughter to show her around and i'm inviting you to train a bit more today if you want.
Thank you."

As he finished his speech many of them went to change and went back home but also many of them stayed and trained a bit more. 

My dad showed me the facility and i was impressed by how big and modern it all was. He told me he has to speak to one of his managers so i should walk around alone a little bit.

I decided to go back out and watch them train again because this was actually pretty interesting to see.

After half an hour my dad came and ended the training so the rest of the players and me and my dad headed home again.

This day was amazing. Maybe next time i could try to speak to Gavi?
