I was the happiest man on earth. Hailey was my girlfriend. I couldn't believe this. We decided to watch a series but after ten minutes she already fell asleep. I decided to text the boys.

I wanted to answer but i heard someone open the door. This must be Xavi. I was so nervous.

"Mi hija, i'm back! Are you feeling better? Pedri told me you felt sick at dinner." he shouted. I decided to stand up and tell him about me and her.

It took a bit of time because i didn't want to wake Hailey up. She was sleeping so peacefully. When i got out of the couch i went to the hall.

"Hola Xavi!" i said to him smiling. I hope he's not mad at me being here.

"Oh Ansu! You scared me. What are you doing here?" he asked while taking his shoes and jacket off.

"I actually wanted to talk to you about something serious. Do you have a minute? And maybe we could go to another room because Hailey is asleep on the couch."

"Umm..okay sure. Let's go to my office." i could hear that he was a bit confused but i kept calm. Don't mess up Ansu.

"You can sit down on this chair." he pointed at a chair across from him so i sat down.

"So it's about Hailey." i began shyly. "I think i'm going straight to the point. I asked her to be my girlfriend one hour ago. And i know i already did but i still wanted to ask for your permission."

"Oh wow that was a bit unexpected. I mean as you said you already asked her so i can't say no but i still have a few questions." shit. I'm scared.

"So was she happy when you asked her?"

"Yes she was."

"And are you happy with your decision that you asked her?"

"Of course."

"Alright. I need you to promise me that you will always keep her safe. Don't break her heart. Just make my daughter happy."

"I promise. I would do everything i can to protect her. I'll never break her heart and it's my first priority to make her happy every day."

"That sounds good. Last thing. Don't let this relationship distract your career in football. You need to be able to keep up with both. Otherwise this won't work."

"It won't distract me."

He stood up, obviously satisfied with my answers i gave him. I was relieved. He came up to me and gave me a hug.

"I'm happy that it's you Ansu. You're a good guy." he smiled at me and left. Thank god this went so good.

HAILEY POV

I must have fallen asleep. I looked at my phone and it was 2am. Why are all the lights on? And where is Ansu?

I sat up and looked around when my dad came out of his office.

"Hola mi amor, go back to sleep it's late at night. If you feel better then Ansu can sleep here if he wants." he said and went upstairs to go to his bedroom. What happend while i was asleep?

Suddenly Ansu came back. Also from my dads office. I'm so confused.

"What's going on? Where were you?" i asked him.

"I was just talking to your dad who came home half an hour ago." he answered. He seemed so happy. What did they talk about.

He turned of the lights and laid down on the sofa again signalling for me to lay on his chest again.

"It's pretty late princesa. We should sleep." i was too tired to ask any more questions so i just agreed and dozed off to sleep again.
