The next morning Nina strolled downstairs to have breakfast at the extensive rectangular glass table in the dining room. Hawaiian bagels, croissants, bananas, white coffee carafe were laid in the center of the long table. Supper utensils were made perfectly all over the table. Nina helped herself with some coffee and added two creams to it. She did not want any of the bread because she is the type who watches what she eats.

"That's all you gonna put in your stomach?" Adam asked.

"Yeah I don't eat that much," she said, stirring her cream in her coffee mug.

"I would literally starve myself to death just drinking coffee," he shook his head while taking big bite chunks of his croissant. She watched him add three big spoons of Philadelphia butter to his croissant and bagel.

"That's too much butter dude. Do you know how many calories butter contains?" Nina asked him, speaking like a true health expert.

"I don't know, and I don't care...I'm hungry," he said, taking the last bite of his croissant and moving on to his bagel.

"A 102 calories," she informed him.

"I don't care. For you to be a hot chick you sure know so much,"

"I do my research and I was an honor roll student,"

"I thought girls who look like you should be more into hair, makeup, boys and wardrobe... Not nerdy things,"

"You should never judge a book by its cover. Anyone can be smart. I am into fashion but I am also book smart,"

"I know that's  right girl, give me some," Jane said, putting her hand up and gesturing a high five. Nina gives her a clap on her hand, smiling. After breakfast Nina went up to Carson's office and gently knocked on the door.

"Yeah? Come in," He called out. Nina unfastened the door knob and entered.

"What can I help you with Nina dear?" He asked, sitting at his computer desk.

"How long do we have to stay here?" She asked.

"I told you all yesterday, not until we find Emily," he instructed

"But that can take forever. Some of us want to go home," she said.

"As you may, but you will no longer be part of the show's accommodations or you will not receive any payments from us if any of you decide to leave now," he informed.

                "Really?" She asked, shockingly.

"Those are the rules. But you all are free to leave at any time you want, no one is stopping you all. Just let me know and I will get a guard to take you guy's home. Do you want to go home?" He asked.

"No. I'm gonna go all the way," she said.

                "Good girl," he said.

"I have another question," she said.

                "Yeah?" He asked.

"How many times in a day can we go outside and get some fresh air? Because it can get boring just being in this mansion all day doing nothing and not doing any TV stuff," she asked.

"I know it can be dull here since we canceled the show temporarily, but you are free to go outside twice a day. You just can't be out there for more than 30 minutes. You must follow every rule we have if you want to get paid and receive a trophy from us," he instructed.

"Thank you so much Carson," she said, leaving the room.

"Yeah," he said, rolling back to his computer desk.
