By the end of the week on Sunday at 10:00 in the morning the two detectives arrived at the mansion. They rang the bell and one of the guards let them.

"Hi, you remember us? Detective Sturgis and Detective Petra?" They both showed their badges to the guard.

"I sure do. Come in," he let them in willingly this time.

"I informed Carson that I will be interviewing all of the guests here and including you guards as well," detective Sturgis informed the guard.

"He did, but didn't know today was the day you guys would be here," he said.

"Well, surprise," detective Sturgis said, being sarcastic. The guard did not laugh. Detective Sturgis was wearing that the same Columbo trench coat. His hair was wavy and slicked back. Detective Petra was wearing the same black leather jacket and black jeans from the last time Carson and the guard saw them. "We need everyone in separate rooms so we could interview them," detective Sturgis commanded.

"Okay. I will make that happen to you," the guard complied.

"Great," detective Sturgis nodded. Both detectives had interviewed everyone except for Nina. She was last on the list. They interviewed everyone in their rooms, and now they were headed into Nina's room. Nina leaped up swiftly from her bed in astonishment to see the detectives enter her room.

                   "Hello detectives," Nina said.

"Hi, and you are Nina Noon, right?" Detective Sturgis asked.

                   "Yes I am," she said.

"How are you Nina?" He asked.

"Worried," she said, sitting face up on her bed towards them.

"About?" He asked, grabbing a  wooden chair on the other side of the room next to a table by the window. He rotated the chair around and sat behind the headboard of the chair. He placed his arms on top of the chair's headboard. Detective Petra just stood next to him with a white notepad and black ink pen in her hand.

"Emily. I've been so worried about her that I started to do some digging on her whereabouts and trying to find out the history of this place," she informed.

                   "Is that so?" He asked.

                   "Yess," she said.

"And what did you find?" he asked. Nina apprised them both about all she found out about the mansion, Jenny Morrison and her parents death. She told them about how she made tons of calls to the police department etc... She informed them every single detail of her research and phone call privileges outside the mansion. "Now  I can't make any phone calls or surf the internet anymore or even call my friend Stacy because of Carson rules."

"You are free to leave if you want to. We hope he isn't holding you all against your will," detective Petra said, caringly.

"No. It isn't that type of control. He did say we are free to leave anytime," Nina told them about the reason why she is staying their longer.

"You did all that research young lady. Maybe Carson taking your phone privileges was a good thing. Leave the rest up to us now," he said.

"Yeah, I know. I'm glad you came," she said.

"They told us at the station you were the one who made the call, and not Carson," he said.

"Really?" She asked, surprised and exultant.

"Sure did. We know things," he said, pointing to himself.

"I'm so glad you found out," she said

"We did interview the other guests and they all told me that you are a skeptic to the paranormal," He asked. Nina smiled and turned upside down. She felt so embarrassed that they mentioned that and not brought up the fact that they have seen Jenny too.

"Did they mention they saw an entity as well?" She asked.

"No. They told us you were the only person seeing things," they said.

"Those lying bastards," she said, irately.

"What?" He asked. Nina could not help but to tell them about how they both saw Jenny's entity.

"A spirit just came out of nowhere and warned you all?" He asked.

"I know you don't believe me," Nina said.

"We have heard stories about this creepy place," he asked.

"But you don't believe?" She asked.

"You want our honest opinion? No we don't, we just go by what we hear. We don't have time to catch a ghost. It's the live ones we are here to catch," he said. Nina was speechless after that and tilted her head downward in shame.

"You're not alone in this dear. If you feel you need to leave then you should. Don't let that man control you. If you have the chance, leave now,' detective Petra encouraged her.

"Thank you so much detectives," Nina said.

"You will be seeing a lot more of us around. We acknowledged you have more enthusiasm in finding Emily than the rest of the folks on this house," he said.

"Geez, I'm glad you noticed," she said, being slightly sarcastic. "No one cares but me."

"Which is why you will be seeing a lot more of us around here, and we will be talking to you more," he informed.

"I appreciate those detectives. Thank you," she said.

"Have a great day, and take care of yourself," he said, leaving the room.
