"Jo, are you okay?" I heard Wayne's voice as soon as the fallen books made a sound.

I finally got the books and arranged them, I stand up and was about to hand them to the 'owner' but to my surprise, he quickly snatched them in my hands and proceeded to the cashier to pay for it. Not that I was hurt because of his sudden action, I was just shocked.

Para tuloy akong statwa na narito at tinitignan pa rin siya, I'm curious why he did that!

"Hey.. are you hurt?" Simone witnessed what happened so he examined my hands if they have scars, bruise or if they are bleeding because of the sudden gesture of the guy but thank God they are still working fine.

"I'm fine.. I'm good, don't worry!" After making sure that everything's fine, inaya na kami ni Wayne sa ibang alley to search for the books I want. Mabuti naman at may stock pa no'ng gusto kong book so I got one. Simone and Wayne are also looking for something to read. This bookshop is so nice to put a reading area where customers can pick books and read it here to see if it's their cup of tea.

Habang nagbabasa sila ay pumunta naman ako sa iba pang alley to pick another book. I'm planning to buy two books today. Halos tapos ko na kasi ang mga nabili kong books before. I'll choose a book with a catchy cover this time. After half an hour ay natapos na rin kami sa pagpili. Wayne bought 4 books, ireregalo niya raw sa pinsan niya ang tatlo. how sweet of him. Si Simone naman ay walang binili. He said he came here just to accompany us and read books but will ended up not buying them. He's not really into this stuff.

When we got out of the book store, we literally felt the hot air outside! The sun burns my skin so tumakbo ako agad para pumasok ng kotse and turn on the AC. Sumunod naman sila sa akin.

"You brought your car nga pala. How do we get to the café together niyan?" Simone asked, wiping his sweat on his forehead.

"I'll just drive all the way there. You should ride with Wayne. You couldn't control your mouth when you're riding with me eh. Akala mo naman ipapahamak kita." I said and made a face like of that Simone's dramatically shouting in my car every freaking time.

"Aba, kamuntikan na tayong mahulog sa gilid ng highway noong last na sumabay ako sayo. Sino bang hindi matatakot do'n aber?" He said, nakahawak siya sa bewang niya while saying that. Natawa naman kami ni Wayne.

"But mas maganda siguro if you ride with Aryse to keep him accompany. You wouldn't want to ride with me because I'm not talkative while driving." Simone just chuckled when Wayne said that. Hindi talaga siya makadaldal pag kasama si Wayne. It's not that Wayne want some peace or wants to focus on driving. Hindi lang talaga ito pala-salita because he likes to listen to music at maki-jamming dito.

"Oo na, sige na." Wala namang choice si Simone but to obey him.

Si Wayne 'yan eh. He always know what's the best.

Simone seated at the passenger seat and buckled his seatbelt. I did the same. Bago ko pa paandarin ang sasakyan ay dumaan na si Wayne driving his car at bumusina ng dalawang beses then he drove off, sumunod naman kami.

"You know what, I think I knew that guy." I randomly said while making a u-turn so Simone turned his attention on me immediately.

"'Yong lalaking nabunggo mo kanina?"

I hummed as a response.

"Why do you think so?" He asked again.

"I saw a familiar keychain hanging on his bag earlier. I think I still have the same keychain on my closet."

"Well, the keychain is familiar, but how about the person? They're a lot of shops that sells the same design of keychains. Baka nagkataon lang na pareho kayo."
