"Students who will participate on the competition later are all present today, right?"

Our adviser asked and our secretary on records, Aliah, answered by nodding her head.

We are currently having our home room. The usual routine na mangangamusta lang ang advisory ng class if maayos ba ang lahat, may it be in terms of academics or outside. It was so nice of them to check up on their students twice a week if they are doing well. Isa na rin kasi ang mental health sa pinaprayoridad ng university namin.

Very different from our space what we call as our own home.

May mga reminders din siyang sinabi bago mag dismissal. Sumunod na rin ang teacher namin for next subject at in-explain lang ang lesson where we left last meeting since may iilan sa amin na hindi iyon gets.

"Make sure you read the instructions before answering the exam. I don't want to see or hear from students kung pwede ba i-consider ang answers nila if they didn't follow the instructions. You know me, HUMSS A", sir Carson stated while roaming around in our room.

He really made sure to remind us about the exam one week before we take it. Bukod sa mahirap ang subject niya dahil kailangan nito ang analyzation, his type of exam is also difficult. Enumeration is one of them.

"Ngapala before I leave..." He stopped in front of me and stared at me for a millisecond. It made me nervous. "..good luck sa mga representatives niyo mamaya. Break a leg." He even acted na nabali ang binti niya, leaning backwards. It earned laughter from us.

Iyon lang ang ginawa namin sa umaga. Dahil half day kami, some of us already went home. Ang iba naman ay nag stay para manood ng competition sa hapon. I'm one of the participants of the competition so I also stayed.

It is still lunch break so I plan na dumayo muna sa room nina Wayne because they want us to have our lunch there. Naroon na rin si Simone na naghihintay.

Dumaan muna ako ng canteen para bumili ng food ko. I ordered hash brown with rice and a side of fries. I need to gain energy para mamaya, kaya daramihan ko ang kakainin. Inabot ko agad ang bayad after ate tindera gave me the food. I thanked her at dumeretso na sa room ng STEM A.

Kumatok ako ng dalawang beses before entering the room, making sure na everyone inside are aware na may papasok. Pinihit ko na ang doorknob but I stopped midway because of a sudden thought.

Classmate niya si Wayne..

Does that mean, nandito siya ngayon?

Ano na lang ang sasabihin ng iba pag nakita nila kami na nasa isang lugar-

"Oh? Ikaw pala."

I was startled when someone opened the door. Napaatras ako at muntikan nang malaglag ang dala-dalang pagkain. Good thing the person in front of me is ready to catch anything na mabitawan ko. Good reflexes.

"A-acky.." tawag ko sa lalaking nasa harapan ko now. He is the one who opened the door.

Kung nandito siya, nandito rin si..

"Simone and Wayne are inside. They are bickering, you must stop them before they kill each other", he chuckled. Napansin niya ata ang pagkatulala ko so he spoke again.

"Ah.. If you are wondering why am I here, kinuha ko lang 'to," itinaas niya ang right hand niya, showing me a navy blue flask that he was holding. "Naiwan ni Quin. Makakalimutin eh." He laughed then tinignan ang relo niya.
