(Sorry for not posting in a while, my motivation totally died lol).

"Sebastian, Alex! Come here for dinner!" My mom yelled.

Alex and I looked at each other for a split second until heading upstairs. This is only the second time we're having dinner together but it feels pretty natural, to my family at least. Not to me, I'll never get used to this.

We head into the kitchen and immediately my mom hugs Alex and gives him his plate, hey... what about me? She grabs another plate and gives it to me, phew. I thought she'd forgotten.

We both sat down, Maru talking about her inventions and other nick nacks she's been working on; all while stuffing her face with food. I wish she could have some manners but she forgets when she's excited about something.

I take a bite of my burger and look over at Alex, who has already finished about a half of it. Monster... absolute monster! How he does it, I don't know, but I'm kind of scared he might die from eating so fast. Or do I eat slowly?

He notices me staring and gives me a look that says, "jealous?" As if I'd be jealous of him eating faster than me. Thats just idiotic.

"So, Alex, what are your plans for college?" My dad asks.

Oh boy, depending on what he says I'm concerned. My dad is really particular with schooling, and even more particular with grades. That's why I stick to studying most days.

"Uh, I think im going to go to a college out of state. Not many colleges here that focus on athletics." Alex responds.

I know my dad says he doesn't judge people who pick athletics for their major but I know he's lying. At least a tiny bit.

"He wants to be a professional gridball player." I say, trying to make my dad be persuaded.

"Nice, nice. How are your grades, Alex?" Next difficult question.

"Ah... my grades? I have all A's except for science, not my strong suit." He laughs a bit. "I have a B in that class."

My family seems pretty happy by how good his grades are, thank the gods. Not all athletic majors are dumb.

"Seems like you should help Sebastain with his homework, he's having a hard time with Language Arts." I feel my heart drop in my chest.

"Dad..." I sigh, does he have to embarrass me? Apparently he does, he says its part of fatherhood or something dumb like that.

Alex looks at me with a dumb smile on his face, so what if I have one C? That doesn't matter! He seems to hum his response, "is that so?"

I grind my teeth from how giddy he sounds to find a weakness of mine. Just you wait, jock! You'll regret laughing at me for that. Mark my fucking words.

After talking a bit more about boring things such as school and work we cleaned our plates, brushed our teeth, and made our way to my room. To which Alex laid on my bed like it was his.

"So, you're having trouble with Language Arts?" He chuckled.

I snarled, "so what?"

"Oh, nothing. Just thinking that's funny." He said, rolling to his side.

He even closed his eyes! Getting comfortable, are we? Which, to be honest, doesn't really bother me in the slightest. He looks a bit cute... NO! Do not think such things while he's here, in my house, on my bed!

"Oh really? There has to be something you arent good at, too." I said.

He gulped, turning away from me. Aha! I knew he wasn't perfect, there must be a chip in his perfect life somewhere.

"What is it, Alex?" I smirked, "are you afraid of me finding out your weakness?"

He looked at me with a guilty expression, and quickly glanced to the clock.

"Ah, isn't it late! Its already 10! That is soooo late, I should get going now!" He lied through his teeth.

"Oh yeah whatever, tell your grandparents we're hanging out... overnight." I chuckled, putting emphasis on the word overnight.

He must be thinking im going to do something evil if he doesn't, so he pulls out his phone and quickly texts them.

"They said that they want to see you again." He huffed.

"Oh really? I guess I'm just that kind, huh?" He shook his head.

"Far from it." He scoffed.

"How mean, you're hurting my feelings." I said, frowning.

He couldn't care less and grabbed my sheets, pulling himself under the covers. The bastard looks like he's right at home! He's so... adorable!

"Hey! Why are you getting so comfortable in my bed?!" I shout.

He rolls his eyes and turns to the other side, "have a problem? Sleep on the floor."

I growl, "obviously I'm not doing that! This is my bedroom!"

He doesn't reply and I'm assuming, closes his eyes.

"Stay here, I'm going to get a sleeping bag for you." I say, bolting out the room.

In all honesty, I don't think I could handle having Alex stay in my bed for a night. And I can't handle sleeping on the floor, but god forbid, we aren't sleeping in the same bed.

I made my way to my parents room; they'll know where the sleeping bags are. I knock and they answer back with a "come in!"

I opened the door and stepped in, "hey, do you guys know where a sleeping bag is? Alex is staying the night."

They both put down their books and looked at each other, giggling to themselves. Hey... what are they thinking now?

"Why don't you sleep in the same bed? You are dating afterall!" My mom smiles.

My face goes red. Could you try not to make me feel humilated for once, mom?!

"N-no thanks." I shuddered, "so, where are the sleeping bags?"

My dad replies, "hmmmm. I don't think we have any."

That is such a lie! We go camping every other month! They both giggle to themselves yet again, probably from seeing my face all red. This is so not cool.

(BTW I'm NOT resorting to tHeReS oNlY onE BeD trope, nah that trope gives me cancer. I just thought this interaction would be funny).
