It's pretty.

Not me, but pretty.

The dress that so happened to actually save me in my crisis. It's almost like she knew I would need it. I mean, I do; look inside my closet...

The baby blue dress was short, slightly above the knees. My shoulders were uncovered as the sleeves dropped down to my arms, it snatched around my waist like a corset and the dress layers flowed the rest of the way. The dress was not to over the top fancy but simple and elegant.
Amelia always had good taste when it comes to feminine looks.

I am brought back to the reality of the time after twirling and playing around in front of the mirror for who knows how long.
I've got to get enough sleep if I don't want to have eye bags tomorrow.

"Thank you", I said when Kendricks opened the door to the front seat for me to get in.

"Did I mention you look breathtaking?"

"It's the fourth time in ten minutes", I reminded him after jogging to the other side of the car.

"Right", he sat in the driver's seat and started driving.

"By the way, where are we going?", I asked curiously. I know it's lunch and I'm just going along to eat out with this person he hasn't sat down properly with for a while, but I had no idea where.

The rest of the way I asked him a few random questions, more on the side of his family life and how he coped with his parents' paparazzi following them wherever they went. Turns out his father keeps him and Kelly away from social media and the paparazzi, so he doesn't have to deal with all that.

"We're here", he notified me as he stopped the car in front of the huge fancy looking restaurant building. I had seen it around twice before. Both times I was in awe to how pretty and expensive it must be to dine in there. The brick building had three floors in total and balconies where you can eat as well along with the beautiful view of the city and fresh air hitting your face.

"Wow, are we having lunch in there?", I pointed and all he did was wink as he spun his car keys on his index finger.

"Come on. We don't want to keep him waiting", he walked ahead of me. He spoke to a lady at the entrance before she led the way.

We were now on the third floor, apparently where there were private lunch rooms. I was trailing behind Kendricks the entire time looking back to me each minute to make sure I wouldn't get lost maybe wondering around like a child.

The usher lady left, leaving me and Kendricks in front of the door of the room where our acquaintance was supposedly in.

Kendricks didn't open the door like anyone would do right now, but turned around to face down at me. He gently took my hand in his and led me to the balcony. No one was out here right now, but I was certain I saw a few people on the floor below's balcony.

"Aren't we going in", I turned my neck around to look at the door we were leaving behind and faced ahead after, "Wow, what a view. Can you imagine how it would look like at night with all the city lights on? It would be so pretty"

"You're prettier"

I looked at him now and I felt a smile formed on my face, "You make me feel pretty", I told him truthfully

"I got you something", he brought out an small blue velvet box. I was caught off guard when I saw the dainty rose gold ring I fell in love with the other day when we were birthday shopping.
