As we sped off, I winded the windows down allowing the cool night breeze to hit my skin.

"You look nice tonight, by the way." Spencer said as he kept his hand on the wheel.

I looked over at him, realizing I hadn't examined what he was wearing. A white short sleeve buttonup with jeans and converse, it was hard to tell due to how dark the inside of the car is.

"Thank you," I smiled, "You don't look too bad yourself."

He rolled his eyes at my statement and looked at me with a slight smile on his face, " 'Not too bad?' I think I look stunning, thank you." He joked.

"Didn't think Mr. Matthews had a sense of style." I replied.

"Are we forgetting about what I wore when we saw each other at the supermarket that one time?" He raised an eyebrow and glanced at me.

The memory flashed in my head as I recall what he was wearing.

"Okay, I must say that your outfit did look stealable. That outfit made you look like a whole teenager! It's crazy how one outfit can subtract so many years from your actual age."

"What? How old do you think I am?"

"29 is my wild guess."

"I'm 26, Parisa."

My jaw must of dropped to the floor the way he chuckled.

"No way. You have to be joking, you're 26?"

He pulled his wallet out of his pocket and handed me his drivers license.

11.2.1997 was his birthdate.

"You accomplished a lot for your age." I said, handing him back his license.

"And I'll accomplish twice as more with a pretty assistant with me."

He looked at me with a smile as he put the car in park. My heart rate sped up as my stomach did the thing it always did when I looked at him.

"We're here." He said, breaking eye contact with me after a few seconds. I looked around to see we were on a beach.

He exited the car and came around to my side and opened the door for me. I stepped out and looked around as the waves crashed against the shore.

"It's beautiful." was all I could say looking up at the stars which illuminated the night sky.

"I'm happy you like it. Should we get going for dinner?" He asked and I turned to him and nodded.

We started walking but my heels made it hard to move freely in the sand.

"Your heels look like their giving you a hard time." He commented.

"Is it that obvious?" I half-joked.

"If your struggling so much, I think you should take them off." He suggested.

I shrugged my shoulders and took my heels off, allowing my feet to sink in the sand. I looked up at Spencer, who was looking down at me, smiling causing me to smile.

"What's so funny?" I asked, taking my heels in my hand.

"May I?" He pointed at my heels in my hand and I handed it to him. "Thanks."

We continued walking, the oceanic breeze flowing through my curls with ease. I noticed the waves crashing against the shore, as they were close to where we were walking. I walked towards the shore, allowing the water to rise up to my ankles. I threw my purse to where no water could reach as I went deeper. Turning around, I saw Spencer watching me from the shore.

"What are you waiting for? Get in!" I half-yelled at him.

He shook his head at me and set my heels next to my purse and he put his phone next to them. He took off his sneakers and stepped into the water, walking up to me. Here, the water stopped at my mid thighs while it was at his calves.

"See, it's not so bad." I swayed my hands in the water.

"You're gonna catch a cold. It's freezing."

I walked backwards, still facing him, going even deeper.

"I love the ocean so much. It's pretty."

I heard the swaying of water which meant Spencer was closer to me. I turned around and splashed him,  playfully.

"Wow, so we're playing this game?" He asked sacrastically.

"I don't know what you're talking about." I smiled before he got back at me and threw water in my face.

"You are on, Spencer."

I splashed him back and he splashed me, the pattern continued with a lot of laughing and jokes inbetween. In these 30 minutes, I couldn't help but notice the warm feeling in my stomach grow everytime he touched me, everytime he smiled, everytime he was around me.

After our rounds of wetting each other up, we were soaked, sitting on the shore, listening to the waves.

"Shit, we forgot about the dinner reservation. It's probably closed by now. What are we going to eat?" He said.

I turned to him, "I saw a McDonalds on the way here. That'll work for me."

He turned to me, "Are you sure?", uncertainty laced in his voice.

"Positive." I said standing up, as he took my belongings up along with his phone.

As I reached my hand out to take my stuff from him, he smiled saying, "I'll carry it, don't worry."

I was hesitant but I let him do it. As we were walking back to the car, I was starting to get cold as the air was chilly.

"I have my jacket in the car, you can use it if you want." He offered.

"You're a lifesaver. Thank you."

We walked for a few more minutes before we arrived at his car, I got in and he did aswell, handing me my stuff.
He grabbed his jacket from the back and handed it to me. I put it on without hesitation and smiled. It smelt like him.

"Are you warmer now?" He asked as I nodded.

He scanned me making sure I was actually okay, before driving off, making it to McDonalds in about 2 minutes time. He went through the drive thru and the voice on the other line greeted us saying, "Welcome to McDonalds. May I take your order please?" He looked over at me and waited for me to choose something to eat.

"A spicy McKripsy sandwich with 6 piece nuggets." I said to him.

"Is that it?"

I looked over to the menu, "And a happy meal."

He told them my order and he added his to it, "Your total is 35 dollars, please pull up to window one."

He slowly moved up to window one where he paid and collected our orders.

"Would you like me to drop you home now?" He asked after he put the food on the backseat. I took a deep breath in and looked at him,

"Can I maybe spend the night.. with you?"

He smirked at me, "Ofcourse, sweetheart. I thought you'd never ask."
