Chapter 3

Crystal's POV
I woke up to feel movement. I looked over to see Johnny trying to get up without waking me. Too late!! I jumped on him and attacked him with licked. He laugh and tried to pry me off of him. After awhile I decided to let him go. Steve and Two-bit bursts through the door and as soon as Steve saw me, he started petting me and giving me some love. Two-bit took over and Steve went to the kitchen, probably to get some cake. Pony went to the bathroom, but the bathroom shower was on. Maybe Darry or Soda is taking a shower. I don't know. I leaned back as Two-bit found my spot. My foot started thumping and I couldn't control it. The shower was turned off and Soda stepped out, pretty much naked, the only thing that was keeping the rest of the guys to being seeing his you know what was a towel. Oh shit!!! He's so hot!!!! I shook my head and laid down, covering my eyes with my paws.
"Aww, look at that. Even Crystal doesn't want to see you naked." Says Two-bit. I felt all eyes on me.
"Shut up Two." Says Soda. I popped my head up and looked up at everyone. Most of them were still staring at me, others were doing their own thing. I went over to the couch, laid down, and closed my eyes. I'm still tired, but oh well.
"Darry, have you seen my DX shirt?" Asks Soda.
"Yeah, it's in the laundry room, hanging up." Replies Darry.
"Ok." He says. I felt the couch shift, I looked up, only to see a have naked Sodapop. He still had his towel wrapped around him and now he has a DX hat on. He started petting me and I zoned out. I was so close to falling asleep and then he got up. Wait, where is he going?? I shrugged and laid back down. Soda came back with his DX clothes on and-- OMG!!! HE'S GOING TO WORK!!!! No!! He went to leave and I started whining. He turned back and ruffled my fur up.
"I'll be back. I'm just going to work." He says in a comforting way. I look down and started whining.
"Pony, Johnny, Two-bit. Will you keep an eye on her??" He asks them.
"Yeah." They said at the same time. Steve, Soda, and Darry left. Leaving me alone with Johnny, Pony, and Two-bit. I stopped whining and lowed my head. I feel alone now. For the past few hours they have tried to cheer me up.
"Why don't we try pickles?" Asks Two-bit
"Good idea." Say Pony. He leaves and comes back with the pickles. He opens the jar and laid one in front of me. I sniffed it and turned around, not facing the pickle. Pony picked it up and threw it away.
"I think she misses Soda." Replies Johnny.
"Yeah." Says Pony. I huffed and went closer to Pony. I rested my head in his lap and he started petting me.
"What if we take her to him?!" Asks Johnny. i perked up at that at started wagging my tail.
"Yeah. Let's go." Says Two-bit.
"What about her ribs and leg?" Asks Pony, more like stating. I growled and pawed at the door.
"She wants to go." Replies Two. Pony sighed in defeat and grabbed his coat. Johnny opened the door and we went to the DX. On the way there a red mustang started to tail us. I growled and the guys looked at me weirdly. I motioned behind us and they looked back. They saw it.
"It's alright, just keep cool and if they try to start anything then we finish it." Says Two. We nod and I huffed. Almost there. One more corner. I can already smell him. I see it!!! I darted towards the store and went in the garage. I saw Steve working on a car and Soda was under it. Steve turned around and saw me.
"Hey Soda, there is a visitor for ya." He says. Soda gets up and sees me. I attacked him and he laughed. He had oil in his hands and got me all dirty, but oh well. I jumped around and the guys laughed. Two, Johnny, and Pony arrived after awhile.
"She really missed you Soda." Says Johnny.
"What do you mean? I've only been gone for a few hours." He says.
"She was all down and we tried to cheer her up, but nothing worked, not even pickles man." Says Two.
"So we decided to let her come see ya." says Pony.
"Wow. I'm speechless." He says as he pets me more.
"Hey Soda, could you hand me a pair of cutters?" Asks Steve. Before Soda could reply, I grabbed it and handed it to him.
"How did you?--" asks Steve, he shrugs and started working in the car again.
"Maybe Crystal could help us out in the store." Says Soda. I perked up and got more and more excited. I barked and jumped up.
"I like that idea." Says Steve. They laughed and Soda went back under the car.
"Can someone hand me a flathead?" Asks Soda. I grabbed one and went under the car, handing him the tool.
"Thanks girl." He says. Ok, so maybe I was really good at cars when I was in my human form. So what. Johnny, Two, and Pony left and I was at the DX with Soda and Steve. When they needed a tool, I got it for them and took it back. It was closing time and Darry picked us up. I rode in the back. He took Steve home and then he took us home. I hopped out and landed on my busted leg. I cried out in pain and shook it off. Soda came around and looked really concerned. I huffed and limped to the house. Darry opened the door and we went inside. I was about to lay on the couch, but Darry stopped me.
"No Crystal. You're dirty." He says. I huffed and went in the bathroom. Soda came in and ran the water. He waited until it was warm enough and then helped me in. He washed me and rinsed me off. I had the urge to shake, but I was trying so hard not to. I guess he saw the look in my eyes because he shook his head no. I could help it, I shook. I got him, the walls, and the floor wet. Oops. I gave him an apologetic look. He shook her head and grabbed a towel. He gently dried me off and cleaned up the water in the floor. I was a little wet, but not much. I went to Soda's and Pony's room and laid on the bed. Pony was already asleep and Soda came in, shirtless. He changed into some comfortable pants and slid into bed. I crawled in the middle of them and they both wrapped their arms around me.
"Soda."
"Yeah."
"Are we keeping Crystal forever?"
"Yeah."
"Soda?"
"Hmm."
"Why does Crystal act more of a human and not a wolf?"
"I don't know Pony. Get to sleep, you have school and I have work in the morning."
"Ok." Replies Pony as he falls asleep. Soda fell asleep after a few minutes and I felt myself becoming closer to the sleepiness. I closed my eyes and waited for the sleep to occur to me.
