I'm in Love with a Lycanthrope

Chapter 4

Crystal's POV
'Beep! Beep! Beep!'
I woke up with a jump and quickly relaxed. Soda turned the alarm clock off and shook Pony awake. After Soda woke Pony up, they both went to their dressers and got out their clothes. I followed Pony into the kitchen while Soda changed. Then, when Soda was done, Pony left and went to change his clothes. Darry was making breakfast, which was chocolate cake, and I sat and watched, hoping that he would drop something. Come on, I'm starving!! He looked down at me and accidentally dropped a piece of cake. I mean even though I'm a wolf, I can still eat human food because of my human self. I scarfed it down, waiting for another piece. He shook his head and dropped a bigger piece. I ate it and left the kitchen. I sat on the couch, beside Pony, and he pat my head. He tied his shoe laces and then Darry called for breakfast. Pony went to the kitchen and ate. I laid down and just chilled. Darry took Pony to school and himself to work while Soda and I walked to the DX. I kinda figured out that Soda is a drop out, but who cares. I love him for him. We stepped into the DX and Soda went to the garage, I followed. Steve arrived shortly after and sat on the couch, in the garage. Soda started sweeping and I laid on the couch, beside Steve. Soda finished sweeping and sat on the couch.

~closing time~

Soda, Steve, and I walked back home. When we got there, Darry was on the phone and Dally was laying on the couch, asleep. I have an idea. I pawed Soda and motioned to Dally. He smiled and I started to sneak up to him. I was crawling on the floor and reached him. I jumped up ad landed on Dally. He screamed like a little girl. I rolled off and the guys started laughing hysterically. By now Dally was giving me a death glare and Two-bit and Johnny came in, confused as ever. We were laughing so hard that we couldn't explain what had happened. Two-bit and Johnny shrugged and sat on the floor. When we had finally calmed down, Soda told Two-bit and Johnny what happened and bursts into a fit of giggles. Johnny crack a smile and Two laughed his ass off. Dally got up and went to the kitchen. I was relaxing when I heard a scream. It was too far away for the guys to hear it, but I did.
"DARRY!!! SODA!!!! CRYSTAL!!!! SOMEONE HELP!!!" The person yelled. I know that voice. PONY!!!!! I growled and went to the door. I barked and clawed at it. I felt the guys staring at me and I tried to break down the door. Darry came behind me, trying to stop me, after I had opened it. He tried to grab me and keep me from leaving, but I bit him and ran. When I got there I saw Pony being held down by a few Socs and they had a heater, gun, against Pony's head. They were going to kill him. I ran and attacked the one with the heater. I pulled him down and bit him. He cried out in pain and the others attacked me. I bit, scratched, and clawed. I guess they had enough because they all ran. I barked and then howled. I looked back to see Pony badly beaten. He had cuts and bruises on his face and arms. He was unconscious and he had blood coming down his face. I picked him up and laid him on my back. I carried him back home and when I got there, the door was closed. I barked and pawed at the door. Soda opened the door and looked at me, sadly, but then he saw Pony and rushed me in. Darry was in his chair, clean the bite mark, and when he saw me he looked mad. I mean I would be too, but I had to save Pony. Soda and Darry helped me lay Pony on the couch. I ran and got the first-aid kit. I handed it to Soda and they worked on Pony. When they were finished, Darry sat in his chair and Soda sat on the couch. I walked over to Darry and lowered my head. I sat down in front if him and whined. I gave him my most best puppy dog face. He looked at me unsure and then smiled.
"I forgive you. You only did it to save my kid brother and I thank you." He says as he hugged me. I barked and licked his face. He laughs and then Pony woke up.
"What happened?? Where am I??" He asks.
"Pony, you're home, you're safe now." Says Soda. I went up to Pony and when he saw me, he hugged me and kissed my head repeatedly.
"Thank you so much girl." He says, on the verge of tears. I licked his cheek and sat down in front of him.
"What happened?" Asks Darry. Pony sighed and looked at me.
"I was walking home from school, I had to stay after because my teacher said she needed to talk to me, anyway I was walking home and a red mustang was tailing me. I walked fast and they sped up. I ran and they stopped in front of me. They grabbed me and pushed me. They were clearly drunk. They pulled out blades and another guy pulled out a heater. I tried to get away, but there was too many of them. They held me down, I screamed for help and then the same guy held the heater to my head. The others punched me, kicked me, cut me, you name it. They stopped after awhile and the guy with the gun was about to shoot me, but ole Crystal here knocked him down and attacked them. The last thing I remember is her coming towards me." Says Pony while tears streaming down his face. I snuggled close to him and Soda held us close. Darry came over and hugged all of us. It was a big family hug. They all buried themselves into my fur, Pony cried. I felt wanted and not like I did when I was with my dad. I felt like I was on top of the world.
