Today was the first day back on set. I woke up early to have breakfast and shower before I had to be in the makeup trailer. My script is still not memorized which I knew I was going to get yelled at for because the script is only for 3 episodes. Whatever ill get my shit together on set. I got into my car and headed off to set. Each main character got a car to drive while we were in South Carolina to be able to get from our apartments to set and vice versa. This really came in clutch cause we had some days off so we could go places and meet up. The cast itself is super close. I consider those guys my family. Madelyn and Chase have been dating for the past few months and only now came out public with it. Rudy and I called it from day one, they just have this chemistry it's actually really nice to see. The apartment they gave me was about a 15-minute drive from the set, so I always left pretty close to the time we needed to be on set. As I was driving to set I get a phone call that interrupts my music

Bro look in your mirror

*I look in my rearview mirror to see Rudy in his car behind me. I flash him a small smile*

Rudy

You good bro? you haven't been yourself recently

Drew

I've just had a shit ton on my mind honestly Kiara keeps blowing up my phone again and just.. i don't know bro

Rudy

Aight get your act straight while on set and well go grab a drink after filming

*I look in the rearview mirror again to Rudy flashing me a smile before hanging up the phone*

My music continues playing as I drive to set my mind in the clouds. I park in the parking lot Rudy follows behind. Of course, everyone is here already and Rudy and I are the last to arrive, nothing new.

I get out of my car and join Rudy to walk up to where everyone was sitting. Huge table with all the directors and crew members on one side and the whole cast on the other. I see an empty chair next to Madison and I take it. She gives me a quick smile before returning her gaze at the director.

"Very happy you guys joined us," Jonas the director says to Rudy and I

I check the time on my watch and see that it is 5 minutes to 6 am. I flash him a smile "5 minutes early"

Jonas chuckles as Rudy adds "Not our fault you guys come here an hour and 40 minutes before filming" Everyone lets out a little giggle before returning their focus to the directors.

"I wanna repeat myself now that everyone is here. WELCOME BACK EVERYONE" Jonas says as everyone claps "It is such an honor to be working with all of you guys again! I hope you didn't miss your roles and the crew too much and are ready for the filming of the next season! As you guys can probably guess no this season does not only have 3 episodes we just only gave you the script for the first 3. The reason for this is we want to keep it a secret from everyone. As you know we are introducing a new cast member to the show and we want more of an authentic reaction of your characters now while she is not yet in the show. It will slowly all make sense later on. I hope everyone has become familiar with your lines so that for the next week things can go smoothly" He says in the last line looking at Rudy. He didnt learn his lines most of the time. Most of his lines are improv and someone ends up being better than what's actually written in the script, but this time it was me. I was the problem the one who did not learn his lines. Better said the one who knew nothing of the script.
