The next day was a Saturday. Usually, students would be excited to go to Hogsmeade with their friends or have a walk around the grounds. However, after yesterday's events it was announced that no student would leave the castle. Olivia thought it was odd since what happened to Hermione happened inside of the castle but it seemed understandable. They wanted to keep tabs on all students, making sure that even if something bad did happen, they would be there to assess the situation.
Olivia had no plans to leave anyway. Today would be the day her and Theo would set their plan into action. Theo would keep tabs on the Slytherin boys all day and snoop around their possessions when it seemed like the coast was clear. She would go visit Moaning Myrtle's bathroom to ask if she saw anything yesterday.
Olivia sat on a bench on the second floor, building up the courage to go into the bathroom. Her last encounter with Myrtle was embarrassing and an utter annoyance. It was like Myrtle relished in the fact that she was freaking out over getting her first period. When a twelve year old Olivia tried washing the blood stain out of her skirt in the sink, Myrtle squirted her with water, completing soaking her. For a ghost who complained about being bullied so often, she certainly liked to bully.
Olivia sighed deeply, letting her mind wonder to more pleasant thoughts. Thoughts of yesterday in Theo's hideout. It wasn't her first time, but it might as well be. It was the most pleasure she ever felt in her life. For a second she thought she was having an outer body experience. Like she was playing out a dream. It left her wanting more. She told Theo they shouldn't see each other today, but she was now regretting it. They had to focus on their tasks but all she really wanted to do was kiss him again, feel any small touch.
Olivia grunted in annoyance. Her nice little daydreams were being interrupted by rumors. Students were sitting on nearby benches, talking about how they might let school out early. Some students were hoping they could leave to start an early holiday, others were just scared. Who would be petrified next? Some took to staying in their common rooms, thinking that would be the safest bet.
Olivia didn't care about being safe. If that was the case, she would have given up a long time ago. Now the only thing on her mind was how she was going to get Myrtle to talk. She rose from her seat, wearing a red Gryffindor t-shirt and jeans. Her hair was pulled into a low ponytail, trying to seem more approachable to the ghost. If she was wearing her normal robes, it might trigger the ghost who was once bullied for her looks and unkept uniform.
As she made her way to the bathroom, she noticed how bare the corridor seemed to be. It seemed that no one wanted to revisit the scene. It was a bit gruesome after all. Not to mention they were scared that if they stepped in this hallway, they too might have the same fate as Granger. She slowly opened the door, trying not to make a sound. She could hear a familiar voice reverberate throughout the bathroom. A male voice. She poked her head in, trying to be as still as possible.
Blaise Zabini was sitting on the floor, his back against a closed stall. He was reading from a book, his voice deep and sensual. He wore a simple button up and dress pants and the low lighting of the bathroom accentuated his handsome features. Myrtle was on her back, floating in a circle around him. Her hands were to her chest, swooning over every word.
Olivia's face contorted into one of utter confusion. She couldn't believe her eyes or her ears. Why would Blaise Zabini of all people be reading romance novels to an annoying ghost on his day off? Never in a million years would she have guessed that was what she would be walking into. This certainly changed things. If she came in asking questions now and Zabini really was in cahoots with Malfoy, it would ruin the plan. The two looked like they were enjoying themselves, maybe she could come back later in the day? No. Instead of seeing this as a hindrance, she should see it as an opportunity. She slowly walked through the door, pretending like she simply had to use the bathroom.
