Chapter 21

Monday, lunchtime:
Jisung's POV:

Getting into the cafeteria, all his friends, were already at their usual table. Jisung smiled and walked up to them. Slung his arms over Minho, kissing his cheek. "Hey Hyungie," Jisung said. "Hey," Minho replied. From behind him, he could hear Felix hysterically laughing then saw a phone camera light flash. Looking back at the rest of the table, 4 out of his 6 friends were looking are Jisung with contorted looks on their faces that seemed to be a mixture of happiness and pure confusion. Jisung chuckled "Oh calm down you lot." Jisung chuckled, sitting down. Then all of a sudden Hyunjin screamed and Jisung was tackled, falling off the chair, Hyunjin and Jisung both ending up on the floor. Jisung heard sniffles from Jinnie and just patted him on the back. "Dude you're making a scene, get off of me," Jisung ordered after a couple of seconds. "Sorry," Hyunjin replied then got off of Jisung. Jisung got up and sat on the chair again. "Ok as I was saying. Calm down BEFORE you make a scene. But it looks like Hyunjin already made a scene so whatever" Jisung shrugged, looking around the cafeteria, where several people were staring at their table. Hyunjin was now full-on crying with a huge smile on his face, while Seungmin was hugging him in an attempt to stop his crying. "Felix has been helping me these past couple of weeks to start talking again. How else did you lot think I would ask Minho out? Surely you had to see this coming?" Jisung questioned. "Well no, we didn't but we are so proud of you Jisung" Jeongin replied. "Thanks, Innie" Jisung smiled. "Anyways baby, you seem tired. What's up?" Minho asked worriedly. "Well I was just tackled to the floor, but other than that, nothing baby. I'm fine, don't worry." Jisung replied. "Hmm ok.." Minho shrugged dropping the topic.

After school, Felix and Jisung were walking home together. "Hey Felix," Jisung said. "Yeah?" Felix replied. "It's started happening again... I had a nightmare of the incident yesterday night." Jisung admitted. "Oh, bubs. I'm sorry." Felix said as he reached to hold Jisung's hand in an attempt to console him.  "I think it was going back to the treehouse that started it. I feel kind of guilty for taking Minho on a date there, I shouldn't have made good memories there." Jisung stated. "Oh Sung, you can't think that way. She wouldn't have minded, I'm sure. But if you get another nightmare, you know you can call me, even if you think I'll be asleep. I won't ever mind, ok?" Felix asked. "Yes I know you say that, but I can't help but feel guilty about calling you in the middle of the night Felix. But I'll think about it." Jisung replied. "I say it because I will not mind Jisung. Call me if you get another one. I don't want you going through this alone." Felix reassured. "Fine, I will. Don't worry Lixie." "Ok, good. Thank you Sungie." Felix sighed. They were at Felix's house now. "Bye Lix," Jisung said hugging him. "Bye bubs" Felix replied before going inside. Jisung waited till the door shut before walking the rest of the way to his apartment.

A couple of hours after, Chan invited him back to the studio. He accepted, of course, excited to write more. They worked together on Jisung's song every day after school that week.

Also, Jisung did have quite a few nightmares the rest of the week. After the second one, Felix started coming round in the middle of the night and staying with Jisung. But apart from that, everything was as it should be. Jisung should have been happy. Except he wasn't.
