Chapter 40

Monday lunchtime:
Minho's POV:

"Minho, you're finally out of the hospital" Felix shouted happily, running up to Minho and hugging him, the rest of the group walking up to Jisung and Minho too. "Felix, damn, you don't have to be so affectionate, get off of him now," Changbin said. "Sorry Baby" Felix replied quietly, looking down. "Woah, no, no. What? Excuse you? The audacity. What the fuck was that?" Jisung demanded. "What?" Changbin shrugged. "No. You. dude. Ok, breathe Jisung." Jisung said to himself. "I think he means, why can't Felix hug me?" Minho asked. "Bro, he can," Changbin responded. "Ok, so how was he being too 'affectionate' for your liking?" Minho questioned. "Bro, I don't know. It just looked like he was being too affectionate. I don't have to explain myself to you." Changbin argued. It was Minho's turn to have to breathe. "Guys, it's fine," Felix said calmly. "Lixie, I know this is your first relationship and all, but no. None of what just happened is fine." Seungmin responded angrily, glaring at Changbin. "Felix, come on," Jeongin said, hooking Felix's arm under his, and taking him to sit down. "You can fuck off. That was not fucking ok. You can't control him like that. I'm Minho's boyfriend but the hug was completely fine to me. Just because you have jealousy issues, doesn't make them Felix's problem." Jisung stated. Then walked off, the rest of the group following too.

Minho was confused. He knew Changbin tended to be jealous when in relationships, but he never knew it was so bad. "Lixie, has he been like that before?" Jisung asked gently. "No. I mean he has been a little mad when I would hug you and stuff, but he always forgives me, so it's fine." Felix smiled. The group was in shock. No one said anything for a minute. "Felix, why would he be mad? Jisung is your best friend, only that. Changbin knows that too." Chan asked, breaking the silence. "I don't know, but it doesn't matter like I said, it's fine," Felix replied. "No Felix. None of it is fine. Nothing about it. You don't see the rest of us telling our partners to not hug someone, do you?" Jisung snapped.

Felix flinched at Jisung raising his voice. He fucking flinched. Minho was beyond fuming but couldn't show it, so just took several deep breaths. "I'm sorry," Felix said. "What?" Jisung asked in surprise, the group exchanging surprised but knowing glances. "Does Changbin shout at you a lot Felix?" Chan asked gently. "He does sometimes, when he is mad... But not a lot." Felix said quietly. Minho could see that this was a topic that upset him, but Minho needed to know one more thing, "Has Changbin ever hit you?" Minho questioned. The others glared at him but stayed quiet waiting for Felix's answer. "He did once." Felix sobbed. "Oh hell nah. Where is he?" Chan shouted, jumping up. "Chan please don't" Felix begged. "Oh, we are just going to talk to him. Don't worry Lixie." Minho said angrily, as he got up. "Mhm" Hyunjin and Jeongin hummed, also getting up. "Keep Felix here away from Changbin, while we deal with this, please," Jisung whispered into Seungmin's ear. "I love you Lixie," Jisung said, also getting up. They then all walked away to find Changbin.

After 10 minutes of searching, they finally found Changbin. He was in the gym. Looking back on it now, they should have searched the gym first. He is mad, and he goes to the gym when he is mad, so it should have been obvious. "Do you want to tell us the truth before or after," Jisung asked innocently. "Truth about what? And before or after what?" Changbin was acting dumb, Minho could tell by the look on his face that he knew exactly what they were on about. "Changbin, it'll make it easier if you just come out with it, Felix told us," Hyunjin snapped. "Told you what?" Changbin tried to look as confused as he could. Chan had obviously had enough and punched Changbin hard in the stomach. "Stop fucking lying to us," Chan yelled. "I don't know what you want me to tell you," Changbin answered. "We know that you have hit Felix, he told us once, but we are willing to bet more. But the amount is besides the point. Why the fuck have you been hitting him?" Jisung demand. "Well, he was bound to tell you eventually I guess." Changbin shrugged. "Are you actually serious right now?" Minho asked as he was speechless and just appalled by Changbin's response.

"Fine. It was around 3 months back, I thought he was flirting with our waiter, and my jealousy got the better of me when we got back home and talked about it. I immediately regretted it, and I still do. I constantly apologise to him for it, but of course, he left that part out." Changbin shook his head. "To be fair on him, we didn't give him time, the only thing we needed to know was a yes or no answer," Chan responded. "What happened to you? You have never been this bad. At least I haven't seen you be this jealous before." Minho asked. "I don't know man, have you seen Felix? I don't know how I got him, so why wouldn't he cheat on me?" Changbin questioned sadly.

"I for one know that Felix is very friendly, but he would never, ever cheat on anyone. Other people's happiness is always put above his own, and he will protect their feelings over his own for as long as he can. That is the reason we didn't know about you hitting him for 3 months. So I don't know how you could even question his love or his loyalty to you." Jisung explained. "Also, you keep acting like this, and he won't stick around for much longer, so if you love him and he still wants to be with you then you best fix your issues, and quickly," Minho said. "If you two do stay together, and I find out that you keep trying to control him like that, or have ever laid a hand on him again, trust me you will fucking regret it. Got it?" Chan threatened. Changbin just nodded. "You can stay here, you ain't welcome at the table today, see how we feel tomorrow. We are going back to Felix now." Jisung stated. Then they all left, enjoying the rest of their lunch. At the end of school, Jisung invited Felix to stay around his, which Felix accepted.

For the rest of the week, the group didn't know how to feel about Changbin. But Felix invited him to the table on Tuesday, and everything seemed normal. But now they knew, they were going to make sure it never happened again. Jisung also made sure to check up on Felix every day, knowing that he couldn't lie to Jisung to save his life.

Author's note:
I'm sorryyyyyyyy, I didn't want to, it wasn't planned, but I had to. I hate myself for it too, don't worry. I hate Felix being in a potentially abusive relationship, and I hate Changbin being the abuser but don't worry their relationship will be all sunshine and roses for the rest of the story, Changbin is truly sorry.
However, I can't say the same for Minho and Jisung's relationship. No, this isn't foreshadowing, but I can't say there will be no arguments because I haven't decided if I want more arguments between them yet, even though I hate writing them.
