Chapter 42

Part 2:
Minho's POV:

Minho was exhausted as he turned his key in the door, he was ready to just cuddle up with Jisung, watch a movie, eat and go to bed. He couldn't wait. But all that changed as he got in and went to hang up his keys. "Baby? Why is there a collar hung up? Are we looking after someone's pet or are you wanting me to put it on?" Minho called out confused. Taking off his shoes, he got more curious and confused when there was no response from Jisung. He walked into the living room, finding Jisung sitting on the sofa, with a weird look on his face. He looked at him, puzzled. Then Jisung broke out laughing. "What?" Minho laughed. "No, we aren't looking after someone else's pet. And did you really just ask me if I want you to put it on?" Jisung asked. "So no to pet play then? Got it" Minho said. Jisung just carried on staring at him in bewilderment. Minho then spotted something in the corner of the room, it was a scratching post, he was confused, so he looked around the room. "Omg! Wait. You didn't," Minho said excitedly. "But I did though, consider it an early graduation gift baby," Jisung replied. "No. You're kidding, right? Minho half yelled. Jisung just laughed in response. "Oh my fucking god, where is it?" He exclaimed. "Ah. Umm... You see... He's in the bedroom, but he really doesn't like humans... He came from a not-great shelter that he lived in for a month, and all that they knew was that he was abandoned. I don't know his exact age or breed, but they think he is about 5 years old. But I know how much you have wanted a cat... But I probably should have let you pick" Jisung explained. "Baby, any cat that we get is going to have problems, this one just doesn't like humans but it's up to us to change that. But anyway, thank you, baby. Can I go see him now?" Minho asked. "Mhm, It's best if you go on your own though, I think he saw me as the shelter staff member was throwing him into the carrier and now hates me. He's set up in there so hopefully he will be more comfortable with you." Jisung responded. Minho just nodded and went into the bedroom door.

Opening the door slowly, and closing it quickly behind him. He saw that the cat was lounging on the cat tree. He looked up at Minho but didn't seem to be frightened like Jisung had said he would be. Minho moved slowly to the bed, with the cat's gaze following his every move. Minho just laid on the bed, and pulled out his phone, reading his newest story that he was hooked on. After a few more minutes, the cat finally stopped watching Minho. Minho thought he was going to curl up, instead, he jumped onto the edge of the bed, slowly moving towards Minho's leg, smelling him. As slowly as Minho could, he put out his hand, to stroke the cat. At first, he flinched at the touch but didn't show any signs of being uncomfortable with the affection.

Within a few minutes, he had gotten closer to him, and laid by Minho's side, purring. Just then the door clicked and it was opened. "Sorry, I forgot that I should put this in here, at least for the time being so he doesn't pee on my carpets," Jisung whispered. "No worries" Minho replied. "Wait what? How did you get him lying next to you so quickly? You have only been in here 15 minutes." Jisung said, surprised. "Don't know, cats just love me" Minho shrugged. "Sure seems like it" Jisung quietly laughed. "Also I love you, I forgot earlier but come here, I want a kiss," Minho stated. But as soon as the cat saw Jisung get closer, he started hissing again. "Ok, maybe not" Minho chuckled. "You love this cat over me already, damn. I made a mistake, didn't I?" Jisung whined, backing up. "I'll give you a reward later to make up for it, I promise." Minho winked at Jisung. "Oh, will you now?" Jisung smirked. Minho looked Jisung up and down, then decided to give in. He wasn't winning dominance today. "Fine..." Minho pouted. "I could always reward you instead? But you would have to put the cat in the living room" Jisung shrugged. "Just give me like half hour with him," Minho pleaded. "Fine. What are you going to name him?" Jisung asked. "I was thinking Soonie," Minho responded. "Aww, Soonie. That's adorable." Jisung smiled. Minho hummed. "Well, I'm clearly unwanted here, Soonie has been glaring at me ever since I stepped foot into the room, so I'll leave," Jisung said, and left the room, shutting the door behind him. "Soonie, half an hour and then you have to go to sleep, alright?" Minho asked, now continuing to pet him. Soonie meowed at Minho, who smiled, this was the first time Minho had heard him meow. Soonie's meow was so cute.

Author's note:
This story is going to be never-ending. Yes, we have technically finished Minho's main story, but we are only halfway through Jisung's, and there are so many different mini-stories I want to do, like this one, group chats, dates, Minho and Chan's graduation and that type of shit. It seems that every time I finish writing a mini-story, I have at least one more idea that comes to me. Like, I'm going to accidentally use all of my 'good' ideas in this book and have none left for other potential stories but then again I don't want to not use the ideas in case I don't ever write another story.
