Umm Ok. Can I ask why? You want to do it for you right? Not just for Minho?
Like, don't get me wrong, I am really happy that you want to try talking again, but you need to want to do it for yourself.
Jisung:
I do want to do it for myself, yes. But my motivation to talk is him.
When I am with him, I keep wishing that I could answer him out loud.
I just want to be able to talk with to him properly.
I think I am going to want to tell him I love him soon...

Jisung and Felix spent the next couple of weeks working on Jisung's speech.
Things went on as normal at school, in the friend group, and with Minho and Jisung.

"So when are you planning to tell Minho about this," Felix asked. "Umm, I don't really know. But I want it to be a surprise. I'm planning on taking him on a date on Saturday so maybe then." Jisung still spoke slowly but he had improved so much in the past weeks. "So are you going to ask him out finally? You two have been talking and going on dates for months now." Felix asked. "I am hoping to Lixie but I don't know. You know how flustered I get when I am with him" Jisung chuckled. "Well just take your time, even if you don't ask on Saturday, there's still always time." Felix assured. "I know" Jisung replied sighing happily. Felix nodded looking out the window.
"Hey, Felix?" "Hmm?" Felix hummed looking back at Jisung. "Thank you so much for helping me, I don't know how I deserve a friend as good as you. But seriously I am so thankful for not only this but everything you have done for me these past years!" Jisung said. "Jisung you know I'm always here for you Bubs, you don't have to thank me. Thank you for trusting me to help you!" Felix replied hugging Jisung. "Come on, let's go make cookies!" Jisung laughed while getting up and taking Felix's hand.

I know that Jisung learning to use his voice again would probably take months and months and a lot of professional speech therapy but for the sake of the story this is the way it has to be...
Also, I know it was a short one, but there's a really cute date coming up in the next chapter or two.
