Chapter 53

Sunday 5PM:
Jisung's POV:

Once the picnic is all set up on the field, they all sit down. Hyunjin chuckles, "You know, all of you would be total single asses right now, if Felix didn't give Jisung the wrong number. Life would have been so different, it's kinda weird and scary to think about, no?" "I know right. Although, you didn't ever explain how you gave me the wrong number in the first place Lix." Jisung says. Felix just shrugs in response, looking away. "Wait.. Did you..?" Jisung starts to question but Changbin interrupts. "I know that look. He's guilty about something to do with it. Bet it wasn't an accident." Changbin says loud, laughing. "Spill. Now!" Jisung demands. Felix fiddles with his hands. "Please" Jisung says a little gentler. "Uhhh... I kinda knew that Minho would stare at Jisung a lot and I liked Changbin, so when the opportunity arose I gave you Minho's number as I had it from dance class already in the hopes of you two getting together and also me maybe having a chance to talk to Binnie..." Felix mumbles. Everyone just sits in silence shocked until Changbin starts to laugh again, "Ha! Minho, I told you that things like that don't just randomly happen. It was all because of Felix not fate, life isn't like those dumb stories of yours!" "It is fate, I will punch you." Minho warns. Jisung laughs, "Baby it's ok. Of course it's fate, but Felix may have just helped fate a little bit." "You aren't mad? Oh thank god!" Felix sighed in relief. "I am a little mad that you waited so long to tell me, and that you did it in the first place. But at the same time, I am really glad that you did because it not only gave me good friends but it also allowed me to find my amazing soulmate too so no, I'm not mad overall." Jisung assured him. "This whole thing has been insane, and it's about to get more insane but like damn..." Hyunjin said. Minho shot a look at him to shut up, which Hyunjin laughed at. "More insane?" Jisung repeated, confused. "Nothing. But it has been insane. Binnie, did you ever watch Felix's tightrope video from the circus?" Minho asked nervously, trying to change the subject quickly. Jisung could tell that Minho was nervous so he pulled him into his chest to cuddle, with Minho happily obliging. "No, I didn't." Changbin says. "He's too much of a wuss to watch it even though he knows that Felix is safe." Seungmin teased. They all slightly laughed, Changbin just stared at Seungmin and flipped him off. "That really was insane. But the haunted house was even more insane. I thought you all had actually gone insane." Chan added. "We hadn't gone insane" Seungmin says, rolling his eyes. "You were tied up in a basement, yet you weren't insane? Minho heard someone calling his name, yet he hadn't gone insane? Jisung and Innie saw that the house had changed from the pictures online and looked lived in, yet they hadn't gone insane? Felix brought an axe, yet he hadn't gone insane? Yall had definitely gone insane." Chan stated. "Ok, I changed my mind. They had gone insane actually, but so did you Chan. Because I was tied up and you lot just let the guy go like he hadn't done shit" Seungmin said. "We all told you not to go down there." Felix reminded him. Jisung laughed, "Come on, let's eat now you lot." They all nodded and started eating.

After they had finished eating Jisung turned to Minho, "Felix said there is one more clue right?" Jisung asked. Minho chews on his lip nervously and nods, looking to Felix. "Yeah Bubs, there's one more clue. Umm.." Felix stops to look at Minho again before adding, "Are you sure you want me to give it to him Minho..?" Minho nods. "Ok... it's another riddle." Felix says before handing Jisung a piece of paper. Jisung takes it and reads it out loud, "'I'm a structure in gardens, both simple and grand, providing a haven, built by human hand. Plants climb over me, creating a lane, under my arch, beauty reigns. What am I?.' Hmm... Umm. Like a garden arch in a garden? I'm not sure." Jisung replies.  "So where Ji?" Jeongin asks. "The Seoul botanical gardens I guess?" Jisung answers. They all nod. "Ok, let's go Baby" Jisung says, getting up and taking Minho's hand. He watches as Minho takes a nervous breath before they both say goodbye to the rest of the group and head back to the car.
