Time Force: Attack of the Robots

Chapter 13: Back to the Drawing Board!

Back at the Time Force Headquarters, Margo, Antonio, Sherman, and Penny got back to work in the command center. "This mission needs to go on better as we are not just giving up," said Margo. "All we need are more people to help out with this mission." "This would be critical so we can get a good shot at it if we build a full army of elite soldiers in the Time Force," Sherman replied to her. The four humans stayed close together, working at their computers as they were collecting data from Mrs. Grunion's world conquest on unleashing her robots into the world. Margo, Antonio, Sherman, and Penny kept on working together to find the next location to where Mrs. Grunion is sending her robots in.

"Sydney, Australia is Mrs. Grunion's next target, Margo," Penny told the leader. "She is sending her robots to attack the largest Australian city of Sydney." "Precisely," said Margo. "That's what all evidence indicates. We need to find Mrs. Grunion and take out her robots before we put her behind bars." And Antonio said, "That would require a lot of stuff to do. So many problems to fix, so many puzzles to solve, so much hard work to be done." "Now, let's get on with the mission and get back to the drawing board to come up with a Plan B," said Margo. "Sounds good," said Sherman. "I'm in!" added Penny.

And so, the Time Force members got over to the whiteboard so they would work on Plan B for their mission to defeating Mrs. Grunion and her army of robots. "Penny, analysis," said Margo. "It looks like we need to come up with a Plan B to defeating Mrs. Grunion and then we can put her behind bars," said Penny. "I find it pretty and somewhat hypnotic," replied Margo. "Plan off," said Sherman. "Yes, plan off. That's what I was going to say," said Penny. "Plan off." So, Antonio started writing out the Plan B formula and Margo sketched parts of the plan. Sherman and Penny put together the steps for the Plan B formula and they followed the other two through sketching out the plan. They worked together to put up Plan B so they would find a way to continue their battle against Mrs. Grunion and her army of robots. After Plan B was written, sketched, and numbered in steps, the Time Force members had to go over the plan. Antonio pointed at the four stick figures with his pointing stick and described the plan. "That's us, and there's Mrs. Grunion's lair. We infiltrate her lair, destroy her robots before she sends them off to conquer the world, and we stand up to her. When we stand up to her, we will work together to take down her army of robots and we will defeat her in the final battle so we can put her under arrest and she will be behind bars." Then, Margo said, "That sounds like a big plan to me. Frankly, it seems that we must work together as an elite team of superheroes so we can get a good shot at this mission."

"You must've known that we are working together as a team," Sherman said in a cheerful tone of voice. "And if ANYONE'S going to save us, it's us," replied Margo. It was long into the evening when the Time Force members had to get some rest for their plan tomorrow. That night, when the Time Force members were safe in bed, they had to think about their plan to defeating Mrs. Grunion just in time.

Next morning, Margo, Antonio, Sherman, and Penny woke up to find nothing had been the same since Riley Andersen, the director of the agency, left to run her hockey game. They did their morning routine together and went off to try the new plan together right away. And so, they had to keep everything running smoothly so that they would be getting a good shot at taking down the master criminal.

When it was time for the Time Force members to get on with the mission to try Plan B, Margo, Antonio, Sherman, and Penny went into their jet to start the new plan and took flight. As soon as they took off, they started to think about how they would defeat Mrs. Grunion in the new plan. "Looks like we need to get in for Plan B," said Antonio. "It'll get complicated as soon as we destroy all the robots and save the world," replied Margo. "It is us who needs to save the world from the master criminals." The Time Force members started to prepare for their new plan to defeating Mrs. Grunion and her army of robots and started flying in their jet as soon as they were ready. "We have to take out all the robots so we can capture Mrs. Grunion and put her behind bars," Margo said to the other members. "Sherman, since you're the demolition expert, try using your dynamite cannon to fire dynamite at the robots and then they will be cleared out in time so that Mrs. Grunion won't even know it." "I'm on with it!" Sherman said as he threw a fancy salute. So, Sherman got to the dynamite cannon on the Time Force jet and started searching for the robots that Mrs. Grunion had been sending out to take over the world. Then, Penny came up to him, bustling in. "Sherman, any sign of Mrs. Grunion and her evil robot horde?" she asked. "No," answered Sherman. "Question is: why are we five miles up into the air all of a sudden?" Penny asked. "We'll be able to blast them before they get too close now," Sherman replied, confidently.

As for being five miles up into the air, the Time Force jet was flying smoothly and steadily. Meanwhile, Mrs. Grunion was having doubts about her world conquest plans being backfired when she would be behind bars. "I hope the Time Force members don't destroy my robots or put me on handcuffs. They are bound to be an elite unit of secret agents." And she was right. The Time Force members continued their flight to search for the robots that were conquering the world, and they started to find a lot of robots all over the world. Just then, the Time Force members saw that there were 1,781 robots taking over Russia. "Cinders and ashes!" cried Sherman. "The robots are taking over the world!" "We have to get them destroyed before Mrs. Grunion sees us!" Margo said sternly. Then, Sherman asked, "Now, where's the dynamite?" And Penny told him, "It's in the cannon, Sherman." "Thanks, Penny," Sherman said to his girlfriend.

And so, Sherman fired the dynamite cannon carefully and the robots were being taken out in one fell swoop. Then, Penny started using her laser cannon to electrocute the robots to death while on the laser cannon of the Time Force jet. "Fire!" Margo shouted. And Sherman and Penny fired dynamite and lasers at the robots, careful not to destroy any buildings in the cities of the world.

Then, Antonio said, "Defenses are holding." Mrs. Grunion, who was piloting her fixed jet, was very cross. "Error! Reloading battle systems!" Then, on Margo's headset, Riley said, "Good work, Agents! Keep it up!" "Sending in the next waves of robots!" shouted Mrs. Grunion. "Lots of fast robots detected!" Penny cried out. And so, the Time Force members had to keep firing their cannons at the robots, and they took them out, one by one.

Just then, Mrs. Grunion started firing her rocket launcher at the Time Force jet, but she missed and hit a park in Russia that where the trees were standing in. The park was destroyed, and then the Time Force members — Margo, Antonio, Sherman, and Penny — were furious. Just then, Elsa and Anna bustled up in their two-seat biplane, dressed in elite attire. "Stop that noise!" Elsa shouted. "She won't get away with this!" hissed Sherman. "Margo, explain this battle," Elsa told her. "Beg pardon, Miss Elsa," Margo began, "but I am the leader of the elite unit, known as the Time Force. We do our work without fuss, but begging your pardon, Miss Elsa, I would be glad if you would inform Director Riley Andersen that we take orders from her." Then, Sherman blasted a bunch of robots with dynamite, and Penny electrocuted a bunch of robots with her laser cannon. "QUIET!" called Elsa. "Agents, I am pleased with your work in the Time Force Headquarters, but not with your battle against the robots in the plan. You have caused a disturbance." "As for the robots," thundered Anna, "they've been worse! They made the disturbance. Margo is quite right. The Time Force is an elite unit, and they take orders from their unit's director."

The Time Force members continued trying to take out the robots, and Elsa and Anna had to help them in the battle against Mrs. Grunion and her army of robots. "Together, nothing can stand in our way!" Margo, Antonio, Sherman, and Penny said in unison. After Elsa and Anna prepared their pineapple upgrade to their combat biplane, they started dropping sunning pineapples towards the robots.

Every pineapple started to stun the robots within five miles, leaving them immobile for weeks. After immobilizing the robots with stunning pineapples, Elsa and Anna launched rockets to knock down more robots. On the way to the Alps, the Time Force members had to destroy more robots as carefully as they could. While Elsa and Anna turned their biplane into a spy plane, they continued stunning the robots with stunning pineapples, leaving them immobile for weeks, and then Sherman and Penny fired dynamite and lasers at the robots, blasting and electrocuting the robots as quick as bunnies.

About two hours past the battle against the robots, the Time Force members went on to find Mrs. Grunion in the Alps. It was long into the evening when they reached the Alps and saw the path to where Mrs. Grunion's lair was constructed in. Margo turned on her spy watch to call Riley. She pressed the Time Force button and the spy watch said, "Please stand by." The static was hissing, and it displayed Riley Andersen, who was playing hockey on the ice rink. "This is Margo calling Director Riley. Come in, Director Riley," said Margo. "How's it going, Margo?" Riley asked. "We just made it to the Alps to find Mrs. Grunion," answered Margo. "We need to progress our way to find her and find a way into her lair." Then, Riley said, "Well, frankly, I might have known that Mrs. Grunion just put up her secret lair in the Alps, and we would never know anything about it." "If Mrs. Grunion's lair is secret, how can we know about this?" Margo asked. "We're secret agents, Margo," replied Riley, "and we need to be spying on the master criminals before we get too close to them. That is important for a job for a secret agent in the Time Force." "And we are good at our jobs," Margo replied. "Margo out." Riley Andersen hung up on her spy watch and went back to playing hockey on the ice rink. Then, Margo, Antonio, Sherman, and Penny worked together to get back on track to finding Mrs. Grunion, quickly.
