Chapter 34: The Identification of the Criminal

"I'm sorry, Scarlet Overkill?" Riley said, confused. "Hadn't we eliminated her until we have to go on the next mission to defeating her after you indicated who the next villain is?" "Yes, but there has been a new development," said Margo. "And I'm telling you, Director, this is the woman. We need to take down and arrest her immediately and her deviously charming husband. I'm pretty sure that Scarlet Overkill and her husband are the next supervillain duo we need to defeat and bring to justice. You've gotta get the husband, too." Sherman interjected, "But, on the last crazy side of things, Margo discovered Scarlet Overkill is the next supervillain we need to eliminate from the order." "Interesting," said Riley, once again trying to straighten things up. "Oh, it's better than interesting," replied Sherman, "We have to defeat Scarlet Overkill and her husband, Herb Overkill, so we will put them behind bars."

The Time Force members exchanged looks and they did not know what to say. I might have known that they would be prepared for the next mission into saving the world, do you? When the Time Force members continued talking with the director of the agency, they had to get information about Scarlet Overkill and her husband, Herb Overkill, while taking notes. They had to think of a new plan to getting the master criminal put behind bars.

"I propose," began Antonio, "that we head back to the drawing board to get a new plan ahead of us. That way, we will be ready to get on with the mission to saving the world a third time and bring the next master criminal behind bars." "Cinders and ashes!" said Sherman. "It's not going to be easy, but we will work together to get everything back on schedule to fighting crime on the global scale. Once we do that, we will finally have a reason to find and defeat Scarlet Overkill and her husband, and then we can put them both behind bars." So, the Time Force members and the director headed to the whiteboard and began to brainstorm some of the structural parts of the plan. "My team isn't kept that the next master criminal is revealed to be Scarlet Overkill," said Margo.

And she was right. Sherman knew that Margo was the genius of the elite unit, and the two started sketching out the plan to bring Scarlet Overkill to justice. They drew parts of the plan to finding Scarlet Overkill and defeat her in a battle against her. After that, they settled on the plan that was sketched out for bringing Scarlet Overkill to justice and later putting her behind bars.

It took the better part of the plan to get everything back on schedule, but finally, they were settled in. The Time Force members were much happier now that they were back on track for getting the plans sketched out on the whiteboard and ready to discuss the plan. "This is it," said Riley. "The plan is complete, and I am proud of you all. Tomorrow morning, we get on with the next mission to saving the world. Margo, show us the map." So, Margo did, and it was displayed as to get the Time Force members to take their route to the crime-fighting mission. "It will be impossible to drop supplies that would be very useful indeed," Riley continued. "Tomorrow morning, we will take flight in the Time Force Jet, load our supplies, travel all the way to London, and reach Scarlet Overkill's lair, in her palace that is still standing. Our mission will begin as soon as we get on with the mission. Supplies are badly needed in the front. They are counting on us." That was it, tomorrow morning. The Time Force members had to get everything ready for the next morning while staying together as the power of four.

Later that day, Margo, Antonio, Sherman, and Penny watched themselves on the 4:00 PM news. "This time, good triumphs and Mrs. Grunion has been put behind bars after a jury found her guilty of turning everyone into robots and conquering the world. But once again, law enforcement is baffled, leaving everyone to wonder, 'Who is this mysterious team of heroes, and what will they do next?'" said the television news reporter on the screen.

"Penny, analysis," said Margo. "It looks like the news reporter stated that we have saved the world again," said Penny. "And all evidence indicates that we might do something next on our next adventure to saving the world." "I find it hard to believe," said Margo. "So do I," replied Sherman. Penny was blushing in a deep shade of red after hearing her childhood sweetheart agreeing with Margo about finding the next adventure hard to believe.
