Somehow I managed to lose the doctor and Jack on this stupid planet.
We were meant to split up then meet back here by the TARDIS which was stood hiding behind some trees in the forest, just outside of the building we explored.

The doctor specifically told us we had twenty minutes, and it has now been thirty. Surely they're on their way now? We don't have this time to waste here, not on this planet.

A cloud of thick smoke started to spread through the forest.

"Oh Doctor, hurry up." I mumble, watching as the smoke drew in closer.

Hearing the sound of shuffling, I whipped my head around.

"Doctor?" I call.

No response.

"... Jack?"

Nothing.

Maybe they can't find the TARDIS, after all, it was getting dark, we were parked in the middle of a forest, and smoke did start to cover the majority of it.

As time passed, it was getting harder to breathe, this smoke was thick and caused my throat to itch.
I then decided to make a run for it, back to the entrance of the building in hope that they're in there, alive. I couldn't stay here any longer, it was impossible.

As I ran, I heard shuffling again, then loud stomps following me. I tried to make it to the front entrance, but my chest was tight, my breathing became wheezes, and my right leg was met with a sharp sensation.
I screamed in agony as I hit the ground, my entire leg losing all ability to move.

Moments later, but felt like hours later, two pairs of voices could be heard shouting, following with loud thuds of footsteps.

I couldn't tell what was happening, my mind refused to function and my body ached, laying there, groaning and coughing in immense pain.

I could feel something forced upon my face, then being lifted off of the ground. I couldn't move or do anything about it.

"Y/n, can you open your eyes? Look at me, y/n."

I heard the Doctor speak in a panic.

I tried to look at him, I tried to speak, I so desperately wanted to tell him how much pain I was in, but I just couldn't.

"Can you speak to me, y/n?" He asked in a hurry.

"What's going on Doctor?"

"She's paralysed. That creature in the forest bit all up her leg, leaving behind some sort of poison through her bloodstream."

"Is she going to be alright? Wh-what do we do?"

The doctor took out his sonic screwdriver, and scanned my leg, before scanning the rest of my body that laid on the TARDIS Medbay.

"She can hear us, whether her brain can function enough for her to understand I don't know. But she will be fine if we act fast." He points to a section of a hologram.

"You see these red lines here? This is y/n's blood. And these green lines? This is the poison emitted from that creatures mouth. If that reaches all the way around her body..." he stops to shoot Jack a blank look.

"But not to worry!" He continued on, jumping from one end of the room to the other. He grabbed some glasses filled with liquid, holding them both in the air.
"This shall do the trick. While I'm injecting these into her bloodstream, will you get the oxygen mask for y/n? All that toxic gas fumes is still within her, she needs to be able to breathe well for this."
