~Y/n pov~
Walking into the extremely lavish, neat university, my heart thumped with nervosity. I have never been this nervous since my high school exam result day. The marble floors and towering columns only added to my anxiety, making me feel like a small fish in a big pond. I took a deep breath and reminded myself that I was here for a reason, determined to make the most of this opportunity.
Looking around, I notice a lot of people just wandering around, clearly confused, and some others look like they have a goal in mind; their confidence shows out through their aggressive footsteps as they walk towards some room.
Taking out my phone, I wondered if I should click a picture of this beautiful hallway so my mother could finally stop pestering me about it, but I decided against it. I can take a picture of something else. Putting my phone back in my pocket, I walked towards the room in the front of the hallway with a board saying 'Office'.
The door burst open just as I was ready to open it, and a man approximately 10 inches taller than me stood before me.
"Oh, I'm sorry! Did I scare you?" He questioned me, noticing the way I flinched.
"No, Move." I replied as I walked inside and past him, slightly pushing him. Yes, you did scare me!
I could hear him mutter something before he walked out of the room. Ignoring that, I fixed my attention on the lady at the counter. She gave me a genuine smile as she asked me for my ID. After handing her my ID, she quickly checked it and handed me a visitor's pass. As I walked further into the office, I couldn't help but wonder who that tall man was and why he seemed so familiar.
____
It has been 30 minutes since I stepped foot into the building, and I have been told that I have a couple of things to get done before I start my classes. One, check out my dorm and keep all my stuff there. Two, meet my teachers. Three, get my schedule. And fourth, which is more like a request from my family, click on some pictures of the place.
I sighed as I walked towards my classroom. I decided that I'll get my schedule before meeting my teachers, and then I'll go check out my dorm if I don't have classes right now.
Walking into the staff room, I walked towards the first person I saw. She was a woman in a green blazer with thick brown hair. She looked at me as I walked towards her and bowed.
"May I help you, dear?" She asked me while she put her glasses on.
"I'm Hong Y/n from the art and cinema department. I would like to get my schedule." I said as I handed her my ID and my forms.
"Ah yes, the scholar student. Wait here while I get it." She stood up, walked towards her cupboard, and took out a file. After going through it, she handed me my schedule. "Thank you so much," I said gratefully as I glanced over the papers. "Is there anything else I need to know?" The woman smiled kindly and replied, "Just make sure to attend all your classes on time and don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions." With a nod of understanding, I thanked her again.
"Did you meet your classmates yet?" She asked me as she sat back down.
"I'm going to." I bowed and headed towards my class.
____Entering my classroom, the first person I noticed was the guy I almost bumped into in the office. He was laughing around with a bunch of other guys.
I looked around and found an empty seat in the middle of the 4th row, so I kept my bag on the chair and sat down to look at my schedule. I don't have a class until 11. I have an hour.
"Hey!" A cheerful voice startled me.
I looked at her, and she was a pretty girl sitting next to me. She had beautiful curly hair and an obviously cheerful aura.
"Hi," I replied to her before going back to reading my schedule.
I could feel her looking at my schedule as well before she spoke. "You are in room 032? Me too!".
That's when I checked my dorm details on the schedule. It turns out I'm in room 032, and I have a roommate as well.
I stood up and gathered my belongings as I walked out of the classroom. I know the girl is also behind me because I can hear her loud footsteps.
"Are you going to check out the dorm?" She questioned me as she matched her pace with mine.
"Yes," I replied as I walked.
____The first thing I saw when I walked into my room were the two bunk beds. Three of them were occupied, so I headed towards the empty one, which was next to the balcony.
"I'm Lee Yumin; I'm 19. What about you?" She asked me while she made coffee.
"Hong Y/n. 19." I replied as I started organising my stuff in my closet.
"Oh! We're the same age! Let's talk casually, then. Do you mind?" She asked me as she set down a cup of coffee on my table for me.
"Okay," I agreed. As we chatted, I couldn't help but notice the stunning view of the city from the balcony. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee filled the room, creating a cozy atmosphere for our conversation.
